In addition, from l’Arcada de Fares, we offer a wide range of activities: hiking trails, cycling paths (BTT and cycle touring), wine routes through the Alt Empordà, guided visits to La Fageda yoghurt factory, sightseeing in the medieval towns of Besalú and Santa Pau, etc. The grounds of l’Arcada de Fares are especially spacious. Covering a total of more than 4000 square metres, its gardens are the perfect place for resting, strolling, relaxing or playing with the kids. Right in the centre of the garden is the mineral salts swimming pool where you can while away the hottest days of the year.The garden is specially designed for a wide range of games and activities, and also for the family’s youngest members. There is a swimming pool, a large playground with a sandbox, swings and a slide, football goals and a volleyball net. Plus, for those guests who like having contact with animals, in l’Arcada de Fares, we have frogs and donkeys. If you enjoy barbecuing, at l’Arcada de Fares we have several grills available for guest use at any time. We have a storage area for bicycles, and a shared coin operated washing machine.
