Description:The cute apartment Nido is part of the Campalfi estate, set back from the river Merse by about 200 metres. Glazed doors lead into the large kitchen/ living room of this apartment on the ground floor. There is a sofa bed for occasional extra guests and a kitchen area (cooker has hobs, no oven). Double bedroom and shower room. nThe river Merse is now a natural bathing area of great beauty, with clean, large pools, bigger than Olympic swimming pools, with shallow, safe areas shelving from tiny sandy beaches, and deep parts accessible by diving from the rocks and banks, all picturesquely framed by the steep wooded hillsides and wild flowers. Campalfi has a special magnetism. Sounds of water, at first whispering then sighing and chattering as you are drawn down the lane to the oak glade, off along a little path, and to the steps which are cut into the river bank. This wide, slow moving river, important in the past for Siena 's corn mills, is now frequented by dragonflies and birds, its banks host to rare shrubs and wild flowers, all picturesquely framed by wooded hillsides and antique roses. The ancient, multifaceted forests, a continuing source of warmth and energy for centuries, are home to deer, badgers and wild boar. At times it is hard to tell which tracks you find are from human use and which for animal passage. These cool, forested hills open up into small plains, glades and valleys. Campalfi is in a wide, fertile valley and the views are of this lovely, mystical countryside, inviting guests to make rewarding explorations, on foot, bikes or horses. Fishing rods are available and there are riding stables within easy reach, and balloon flights can be arranged. Nearby, the hill village of Orgia has a restaurant / general store and bar, and just outside the village is a Woods Museum, an outstanding example of a living museum, with country artefacts housed in a huge Tithe barn, and guided walks through the woods and countryside. For all its peace and insulation from the bustle of city life, Campalfi is only 3 km. from Stigliano and a few minutes further from Rosia with shops and restaurants. Within walking distance is the tiny village of Brenna, also on the river side, which has a good pizzeria. A few minutes drive takes you to major arterial roads, making visits to all the centres of Tuscany and beyond very easy.

Le Pradet is known for its seaside location, unspoilt nature (national park) and wonderful climate e28093 a great destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. n nOur family apartment is located in an idyllic spot alongside Les Oursinieres, a hamlet of Le Pradet. Les Oursinieres is a quaint fishing port and is well known locally for its safe beaches and balmy water. n nA 5 minute stroll from the apartment will bring you to the beach of Les Oursinieres, where you will find a number of cafes and restaurants. From there you can wander along the coastal walking track where you will discover wonderful coves and beaches, with cafes dotted along the way. n nThe apartment is on the 1st floor of a 2-storey, small and secure residence complex - fully gated with keypad code access and onsite caretaker. Within the Residence, consisting of Provence style terraced houses, there is a magnificent swimming pool (fully enclosed with child-proof safety latches on the gates), a wonderful garden area and facilities for table tennis and petanque. With its built-in BBQ, the 16m2 balcony is able to be used for dining all year round. n nOne of the bedrooms is located on the main level (double bed) whilst the other is located in the spacious loft area (double bed and single bed). There is a single sofa-bed in the living room. n nOn the main level there is also the large covered balcony/dining area (with built-in BBQ), fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and separate toilet. The apartment has WiFi, 2 televisions and a telephone available for use. There is also plenty of storage space for all the family belongings. The shower and toilet are fitted with support handrails for those with reduced mobility. n nThe local area has activities and interests for everyone. Great walking & cycling tracks, rock pools, snorkel nature trails, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing, fishing (rod & spear), boat trips to the islands of Hyeres, mineral mine museum, traditional Provencal markets, day trips to places such as St Tropez, Cassis, Aix-en-Provence........or simply choose to idle the time away on the beach, by the swimming pool or at one of the many local cafes. n nAll activities and local attractions are easily accessible by car, on foot or by the local bus service - the bus stop is a 3 min walk from the apartment.
