A well-preserved example of Renaissance architecture, the 16th century complex is structured with a central main building flanked by arcaded wings. A large, independent three-story apartment in the left wing is available for rental. It is furnished with antiques, period paintings, and objets d 'arts that have been in the family since the 16th century. The apartment was restored in 1990 and partially refurbished in 2003. Most rooms have original parquet floors and ceilings with plaster moldings. The bathrooms are done in hand painted Vietri tiles and have new fixtures. A member of the Marcello family resides in a separate part of the villa and is available to welcome guests and offer assistance during their stay. Outdoor amenities include a classic Italian garden with a fountain, Greek mythical statues, flower beds, and lawns. The park [7 hectares] is fully enclosed and is framed by rows of hornbeams, limes, and oaks. Outbuildings include a dove cote and chapel. There is a large fish pond with running water and woods with century-old trees. Near to the main building there is a small, separate garden with swimming pool surrounded by oleanders, roses, and hydrangeas. On the right side of the landing, a hallway leads to the dining room [furnished with a table for 8] and a well-equipped kitchen [oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and toaster]. Both the dining room and the hallway lead into the large living room, which has six windows on three sides and is furnished with a large sofa, two easy chairs, four arm chairs and a chaise lounger.
