In 1947 it was bought by the family of the actual owners who left the house unchanged thus preserving both the work of one of the first celebrated Florentine designers, and the simplicity and sporty atmosphere of the house. The area around Villa Morelli Gualtierotti, known as the Pistoia Apennines is a good holiday destination for people who appreciate a very well preserved environment with plenty of trekking routes to enjoy on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. It is rich of rivers for canoeing and fishing and offers many opportunities for practicing all kinds of outdoor sports.
