Peaceful,very private, clean, and comfortable. Includes all linens, farm fresh eggs(you can meet the chickens in person!) and a bottle of local wine. Description:This rental is located on 8 acres in the scenic hills above Santa Rosa. Although it is in a country setting, you are only minutes away from shops and fine restaurants. Serene and beautiful mountain views can be seen from the balcony and all the windows. Wake up to a view of sunlight on mountains and the song of the numerous birds that live here. The road begins and ends in 2 State Parks that are wonderful for hiking or mountain biking. The property is centrally located for wine country exploring and is at the beginning of the Sonoma Valley Wine Region. The EAST WING of this home is available with its' own private entrance, separate kitchen, dining room, bedroom, bath and balcony. The downstairs kitchen has all new fixtures and appliances and there is a separate dining area. The main room is a beautifully furnished, very spacious Master Suite. This area has a sitting area, large flat screen TV and and a cozy fireplace. The room is crafted with fine details such as custom built-in cabinets, lofty wooden ceilings, and siding shoji screen panels .There is also a bar sink, mini fridge and microwave located next to the balcony. The bath area is also very large with double sinks , a Jacuzzi, and walk-in shower.

The kitchen includes gas range and oven, refrigerator and is fully stocked for cooking and dining. Pots/pans dishware and linens included. Please bring your own toiletries. Enjoy vineyard walks from the property, beautiful hikes in two nearby state parks, epic cycling right out the door or just enjoy an afternoon with a good book, each night a spectacular and changing sunset. Sonoma is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed food and wine experience. We are two miles north of downtown & the Sonoma Square. The house is only minutes from the Larkspur ferry to San Francisco and 10-15 minute drive to Golden Gate Bridge. Our house has a newly remodeled kitchen and master bath, fenced in flat backyard with gardens, grass, deck and hot tub bright sunny rooms with several sky lights, spacious floor plan, extra garden/family room in addition to living room, two-car garage, upright piano, and is walking distance to downtown San Rafael. Our home feels like Mill Valley with sunshine! We are asking for $4000 for 5 weeks (including utilities) or $1500/week, the rate for 4 weeks/month is $3500.
