Description:The hilltop village of Frigiliana is 10 minutes from Nerja, a lively but family-oriented seaside resort, at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol. This recently built ground-floor apartment (completed 2003) is in a four-building complex on a steep slope in Frigiliana, just below its historic quarter. Frigiliana is famed for its warren of steep narrow alleys, flower filled courtyards and hidden squares, with stunning views of the sea and mountains. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bars within easy walking distance that cater for a variety of tastes and budgets. The apartment is modern and well equipped, with a traditionally-styled exterior in keeping with the historic location. The flat has a small covered patio for sitting outside, while a large communal garden area surrounding the 16m swimming pool is a few steps away. There is a large through lounge (11 metres/27 feet) and two good-sized bedrooms with built in wardrobes. Bedrooms: Bedroom one with double bed, fitted wardrobe. Bedroom two with twin beds, fitted wardrobe. (All supplied with linen, and electric blankets for winter use). Bathrooms: Bathroom with combined bath/shower, wc, bidet. Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with full size oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, and toaster. Living Rooms: Large lounge with two sofas, TV/DVD, Radio/CD/MP3 player. Dining area (Table with 4 chairs and 2 additional stools). Other: Store room (approx 2sq.m) for beach/pool items. Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Linen, towels,and tea towels are provided and changed weekly. Please bring your own beach towels. The property is cleaned weekly. There are ceiling fans in the living area and both bedrooms, as well as two free-standing fans. There is an oil-filled electric heater and a fan heater for winter use. Other equipment includes a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, stereo system, and DVD player. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the apartment and sorry, no pets allowed. Accessibility The property may not suit some people with disabilities as there are 30 steps up from the nearest car parking (opposite the village school). There are also steps up and down between the accommodation and the swimming pool. Outside There is a 16m shared pool surrounded by a sun terrace and gardens, with dramatic views of the mountains, and down the valley to the sea. There is a small sitting area outside the apartment with teak chairs and a portable barbecue, as well as 2 reclining deck chairs and 3 sun loungers to use by the pool. There is no dedicated off-street parking but there are ample places, free of charge, on the nearby main road. Notes on prices Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. The start of your stay is the relevant date for the pricing level. The rental includes bedlinen, towels (other than beach towels), tea towels and weekly cleaning. If you are interested in longer term lets, please contact the owners. Changeover day The preferred changeover day is Saturday, but we can be flexible, especially outside high season. The requested arrival time is after 4pm, and departure before 10 am, to allow cleaning and preparation. These times can be varied by agreement. Please contact the owners by e-mail or telephone. A deposit of £100 will be required at booking, and the balance 28 days before departure.

Description:Casa Poloma Blanca is set on the northern shore of Lake Vinuela with a southerly aspect. This superbly furnished accommodation is more than a home away from home. It has every facility you could wish for to relax and enjoy your holiday. Two of the bedrooms lead on to the terrace with magnificent views of the lake and mountains as does the sitting room. It has a beautiful laid out garden with large lawn area and a sandpit for the children. There are restaurants and shops within a 5 minute drive. The surrounding countryside is scattered with many pretty traditional white villages. A large commercial centre with a hypermarket and various shops is 10 mins drive away. It is a wonderful situation for exploring the picturesque Andalucian countryside or just relaxing by the pool. There are many walks in the area for the more energetic with maps and books being provided to help you on your way. You could not pick a more beautiful spot to holiday than Casa Poloma Blanca. There are no extra charges for heating or air conditioning. The property is not down a long track and has easy reach to a good road although being in a quiet position. It is not suitable for people in wheelchairs. Outside There is a large outside terrace area, some being covered and the rest open around the pool. Sun loungers and a large wooden table and chairs together with sun umbrella are provided for alfresco dining. There is a sandpit with toys for the children and a gas BBQ. It has a beautiful laid out garden with a good sized lawned area. The views from the terrace and garden, of the mountains and lake, are quite spectacular. It is a fabulous place to relax and take in the stunning surrounding countryside. The pool is 6x4m and is completely private. It is deep enough for diving. A deposit of 25% is payable to confirm the reservation, the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. All UK payments are made to a UK bank account. Euro payments by transfer to a Spanish bank account. The rates shown for low and mid season are based on one bedroom occupancy. There will be a charge of £50 extra per week for any extra bedroom occupied. A £100 security deposit is payable with the final payment.

A few steps lead up to an L shaped patio with barbecue, wall lighting and external electrical sockets. A full length wind-out sun blind provides the necessary shade and patio furniture including large table, 6 chairs, sun loungers, separate umbrella are all provided. Patio doors to both bedrooms plus 2 sets to the lounge all have lockable grills allowing secure ventilation. The nearest pool is 3 minutes walk down steps and is overlooked by the restaurant bar. A children's pool is just below this and another larger pool is 3 minutes in the other direction and can be seen from the patio across the open green area outside the property. Description:Casa Moro is a privately owned fully restored townhouse with all modern facilities, decorated in Moorish style. The terrace has stunning views of the mountains, sea and lake. Set in amongst the narrow winding flower bedecked streets in the lower part of the village. Vines, almonds, olives and oranges are grown all around the village, which is also famous for its black pudding or Morcilla. Mules, horses and goats are still a familiar part of every day life. 30 minutes drive and you can be at the coast, beach or golf course, one hour and you are in historic Malaga. A great place to relax, walk, paint, commune with nature or explore the white villages of Andalucia. Granada city and the magnificent Alhambra are less than 2 hours away by car.The house has been totally renovated in rustic style, with Moroccan furnishings. The house is large with spacious rooms spread over four floors including roof terrace, there is underfloor central heating, heated towel rails in the bathrooms and two wood stoves for the winter. Ceiling fans in the lounge and bedrooms for the summer months. Windows have shutters and fly screens. There are doors to small balconies from bedroom 2 and the lounge. Cot and high chair available on request and free satellite TV channels.The surrounding area is not particularly wheelchair friendly, the house is in a narrow pedestrianised street, with a fairly steep slope and a step to the front door and is not adapted for wheelchairs, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users. However, although the house has three floors, the staircase is wide, steps are not steep and there are landings and wrought iron rails, it may be suitable for people with some mobility problems.
