The hill is more of a small incline and guests shouldn't be concerned by it, (its very easy we promise) though you should take note if you are with small children or have elderly parents with you. The advantage is that the location is a much quieter spot than most of the Old Town, but still minutes away from all the character and charm the Old Town offers. nThe rental apartment is on the first floor of a typical building without a lift. nLiving Area nThe large living area has a three seater sofa and a large chair. For entertainment there is a 42 inch LCD screen along with plenty of shelving units holding books and DVDs. There is a perspex coffee table and rug for enoying drinks and snacks and for more formal dining, a table and four chairs. Should you ever decide to invite friends to sample your market spoils, the table pulls out to seat up to eight. nGuests will find the ceiling fan a big bonus in summer months. Description:Spacious highly recommended 2-bedroomed apartment in the heart of the Old Town. The living room is spacious and bright. There is a fresco painting on the ceiling. It has been assessed by experts working on behalf of Les Bâtiments de France (French historical buildings authority) and Monsieur Astro (director of Le Palais Lascaris a museum in the old town). They are in no doubt that the fresco was painted around 1750, with some ornaments realised later in the century. Unfortunately, they are not able to say who the painter was, but have agreed that a fresco in this area and in such good condition is very rare. When in this room, you get a wonderful feeling of being a part of history. There is a CD/tape player/radio, DVD player and a television should you wish to bring your favourite CDs and DVDs with you.
