Description:The first thoughts our guest might have in driving to this vacation home is the beauty in its location and surroundings. n nLocated in Geyserville, about 15 minutes north of Healdsburg, this little cottage is perfectly placed in a private community, with a clear refreshing lake, club house and tennis courts. n nFully furnished to accommodate 7 guests, there is also lots of room to walk, hike or swim in this community of custom homes. n nThe town of Geyserville has several wonderful restaurants, including Santi and the Geyservilled Smokehouse, and the Hoffman House Deli. This is also a nice jumping off point to the area's wineries (Geyser Peak, Chateau Souverain, Trentadue) and Lake Sonoma for boating or canoeing. n nAs you enter the courtyard, you will notice a nice table, chair, umbrella and bbq. To your right is the laundry area, and to the left the kitchen, which is supplied with lots of cookware, utensils and dishes to serve all 7 guests. n nContinuing through the kitchen you will enter the living room. This room is roomy and bright, with sofa, leather chairs, and futon sleeper, all focused on a wood burning stove, providing a nice accent/highlight to the wonderful conversation or family time during the day or evening. n nTo the right of the living room are two bedrooms, one is the master with a queen bed, and the other a guest bedroom with double and twin.

Description:Our Guest House is located off of Covey Road at Johnson Lane in Forestville, CA. 95436. You can use Google maps to find it. If you enlarge the area, you will see exactly where we are located in the greater area of Sonoma County wine country. n nThe following towns are our more immediate neighbors: Graton (3 miles), Sebastopol (7 miles), Bodega Bay (22 miles), Occidental (10 miles), Jenner (21 miles), Guerneville (8 miles), Santa Rosa (13 miles), and Healdsburg (12 miles). n nOur Guest House is approximately 1 mile from Westside Road a.k.a. Come explore Point Reyes National Seashore from our waterfront vacation rental. Located only an hours drive North from San Francisco and the East Bay, two hours from Sacramento and about a half hour from Sonoma County. The Point Reyes National Seashore is a special place where you can never visit the same beach or hike the same trail twice. The Dutton House is a wonderful waterfront home with an expansive bay front lawn and private beach. There is a fully stocked kitchen, stone BBQ, wifi, TV, DVD/VCR, collection of movies, and cozy wood burning fireplace all on Tomales Bay. Launch your kayaks in front of our home, or rent kayaks just up the road in the town of Marshall. Larger boats are launched at Marconi Cove next door to the property. In warm weather there is great swimming right in front of the house! Unique local shops are nearby in Point Reyes Station and this area is home to several excellent dining adventures such as Osteria Stellina, Tomales Bay Foods and Nick’s Cove within minutes of our home. With 1 double bed, plus a comfy couch and single bed pads, The Dutton House will comfortably sleep 3-4 people. Our home comes fully equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, silverware and basic herbs, spices and a selection of teas, coffee and snacks. For the more adventurous pitch a tent on the front lawn and wake up with the shorebirds! Our open-style living room/dining area/kitchen is a perfect gathering place for family and friends to enjoy time together, surrounded by Tomales Bay water views. Description:The Point Reyes Tennis House is located on a quiet rural lane in the village of Point Reyes Station, just one hour north of downtown San Francisco. The home is one of two residences on a beautiful acre plus property. It features a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils, appliances and dishes set next to a large dining and living area. The living area with vaulted ceilings, large windows with expansive views includes a flat screen TV/DVD player, a pellet stove, WiFi, free local and long distance phone with comfortable seating to enjoy the views of the garden and the Inverness ridge. Two lovely bedrooms, with double beds are on either side of the bathroom and the washer and dryer. All linens are provided. Downtown Point Reyes Station, home of the popular Bovine Bakery, Station House Café, Point Reyes Books and the Saturday Farmer’s market at Toby’s Feed Barn is short walk from the Tennis House. The downtown features many wonderful shops and restaurants including Susan Hayes Handwovens, Zuma, Café Reyes, Stellina’s the Point Reyes Surf Shop and Flower Power. The Point Reyes National Seashore and bay and ocean beaches are just minutes away. The property provides guests with a rose garden, a private deck, a brick patio with gas BBQ and picnic table and plenty of furniture to enjoy the out of doors. Perfect for cyclists enjoying SoCo there's room in the apartment to store two bikes, maybe three. There is a floor pump available. About the Area SOFA (South of A Street) is home to Santa Rosa's arts community. The apartment is located between several points of interest (see map for guidebook). Picturesque Julliard Park is a block down the street. An .8 mi bike ride/walk away is the Fourth Street shopping and restaurant district which includes the well-known Russian River Brewery. Santa Rosa's oldest diner, the Cook House is across the street. Locally-owned Atlas Coffee shop is one block away. Historic and quaint Railroad Square offers more restaurants (American, Thai, wine bars) and speciality shopping, like antiques. Dierk's Parkside restaurant, with its great brunch, is a few blocks away. Things To Do You can be sipping and cycling within a few miles of leaving South A Street. Walk two blocks north from the apartment and you are on the 22 mi. long Prince Memorial Greenway, which runs along the Santa Rosa Creek as far as Sebastopol. It is as perfect for exercise as it is for taking short or long explorations to other destinations in the area. Visit the Sonoma County wineries by bike throughout Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys. Do the incredibly scenic 50 mi. loop to Occidental and back. On a working ranch complete with cows, horses, gardens, orchards, vineyards and one-lane country roads, the Watertower is a very relaxing place to get caught up on your reading, writing, walking, and/or romance. The three story structure encompasses a third story full-size bedroom with balcony seating area, second floor bathroom and dressing area and first floor kitchen and sitting area with wood stove and ipod speaker dock. There is a comfortable, rustic and scenic garden seating area in front and behind the structure. The 100 acre property invites exploring and connects to an idyllic several mile walk along a one lane country road with gorgeous views. The surrounding area has much to offer in hiking, site-seeing, wine tasting, and great food, including state & regional parks, wineries of all sizes, hot springs, farmer's markets, and more. Free WIFI available throughout the property. This is a historic ranch property. It is not luxurious and it does not have a spa. It is very clean and has a special charm. It is a very unique building in an absolutely gorgeous location! It has a wood stove, space heater and fans, but no central heat or A/C. If the weather is cool we will build the fire before you arrive and provide firewood for the duration of your stay. Property comes with down comforters & pillows, crisp linens and plush towels. Guests are greeted with a half bottle of wine and kitchen includes coffee and basic utensils.
