Description:The house is an early twentieth century Art Nouveau building recently restored, according to its original style, with care and attention for the details. It is situated in a peaceful hamlet, surrounded by a large park with centennial beech and oak trees. At the villa’s ground floor guests will find a modern kitchen and a large bright living room with a characteristic Art Nouveau glass window over the natural setting. Pretty curved stairs take to the upper floors where six bedrooms, all supplied with en-suite bathrooms, are located. All the different rooms are furnished with an astonishing combination of original ancient furniture and contemporary design elements. From the first floor, guests will also have access to the rear garden, fully equipped with outdoor furniture (tables, chairs, beach beds and umbrellas) and a dining area with barbecue overlooking the swimming pool. In addition to the Villa, a cosy 2-bedroom apartment next to the swimming pool is available for rent. Villa Morelli Gualtierotti is located near the town of Pistoia. Although less known than other Tuscany's art cities, Pistoia offers a very cute medieval centre, with many good restaurants and an interesting bi-weekly market. The area around Villa Morelli Gualtierotti, known as the Pistoia Apennines is a good holiday destination for people who appreciate a very well preserved environment with plenty of trekking routes to enjoy on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. It is rich of rivers for canoeing and fishing and offers many opportunities for practicing all kinds of outdoor sports.
