Description:Welcome to Casa Paradisio, our waterfront home in Bocas del Toro, Panama. Our goal is to provide you with a vacation rental experience you will never forget. You will find Casa Paradisio to be a place where dreams come true if only for a week or so at a time. The Casa provides an authentic island venue with excellent amenities and incredible opportunities to enjoy nature. Our Aqua Home is located on the East End of Isla Bastimentos near the village of Salt Creek – about a 35 minute boat ride from Bocas Town. It lies off a white sand beach at the end of a long dock surrounded by the waters of the Caribbean Sea. The area is very quiet and relatively remote with only a few houses and even fewer resorts found along miles and miles of beach. The Ngobe Indian Village at Salt Creek is about a 10 minute walk away and you will likely meet many of these incredibly interesting people during the course of your stay. Despite its distance from town there are still dining and entertainment options to consider. A healthy 30 minute walk down the beach will bring you to the Au Natural Resort where you will find a bar and a quaint restaurant. A short boat ride will take you to the World Famous Crawl Cay restaurant and bar. When building the house we chose to use only local materials and remain consistent with the Island Style of construction of the area. As such, you will find natural wood walls made of Cana Fistola – a rich looking wood with a rusty reddish tint, hand cut floors made with dark and dense Nispero – one of the hardest woods known to man and an authentic thatched roof fastened with Bahuca vines from the surrounding jungle. We also chose to build Green and as such have incorporated solar panels for generating electricity and a solar hot water system to heat water. We encourage you to recycle whenever possible, separating all organic and non-organic matter. The organic matter you geneate will be used to make compost for our gardens and the non-organic matter will be disposed of properly. The furni...
