The apartment sleeps up to four people, making it a great choice if you're travelling as a family or with relatives. All our electricity comes from renewable sources and all cleaning products are eco-friendly. No animals were harmed or used for our bedding. For this apartment, we really wanted somewhere that would feel cosy and fun: the parquet is original and restored, the wallpaper in the living room glows in the dark (totally safe) and we've tried to make the place as colourful and bright as possible. There are three large windows that look out onto the street, but it's calm, and the double glazing reduces any noise to almost silence. If you look out the window to the right, you'll see the bridge over the canal. There's only one canal in Paris, and it's lovely to have nearby. The area nearby has loads of great boutiques and restaurants too, plus we're within easy walking distance of Gare du Nord (Eurostar, Thalys trains to Brussels, Cologne and Amsterdam, direct links to both airports...) and Gare de l'Est. This is the area that we live in and love, and we hope you'll love it too.
