Description:The main house which sleeps up to 22 persons offers 11 bedrooms ( double and twin ) all with own private bathrooms. There is a magnificent vaulted drawing room, paneled dining room, large kitchen, day room, library, games room, inner patio, classic Moorish gardens, 30ft swimming pool, tennis court, Own private chapel, dining hall (seating capacity 100 persons). Additionally there are 2 separate cottages providing another 6 twin bedrooms all with ensuite bath/shower rooms (sleeps 12). Total overall sleeping capacity is 32 persons. The most important change is that we can now sleep 34 persons not 24 as before. We now have 2 cottages each has 3 twin bedded rooms with en suite shower or bathroom . Each cottage also has a fully fitted kitchen . The cottages sleep 6 persons in each ( max of 12 persons overall ) and in the main house 22 persons as before . A Total capacity 34 persons . In 2009 we converted the old Olive mill at the back of the premises into a dining hall It is fully open space and can seat up to 100 persons .Perfect for wedding groups or for conferences , yoga /fitness groups etc …( There is no extra charge for the use of the mill for groups staying at the property ). We now can offer an airport collection service for up to 8 persons at a time. We have an 8 seater minibus plus driver and are also able to arrange local collections , visits to the market , excursions etc…Prices on application.

Description:The unique Morada do Sol estate consists of two units, ‘Villa Cascais’ and ‘Casa Grande’, linked by a beautiful 5000m2 enclosed landscaped garden. When both houses are rented to same group, parties of up to 34 people can enjoy in complete privacy the large semi of fully covered swimming pool, the gardens, the games area and the sauna (usage upon additional payment). The architecture of the main villa (Villa Cascais) is of Mediterranean influence, with the house following the contours of the landscape, curves not cubes, so the whole is at one with its setting. Most rooms connect to the outside. As the house is set on two spacious floors, there are two living rooms, two kitchens, two private patios and many wonderful relaxing spots with different views. The villa has 7-8 bedrooms in total and can accommodate to up to 20 people. The main entrance is via a spacious entrance hall, with original pine trunks forming the ceiling. To the right, the main formal living room is found with a lovely encased fireplace providing the focal point, and 3 full length French doors opening to the gardens. A large TV with Satellite SKY channels, DVD player and Stereo is provided for the entertainment of guests. To the left the formal dining area is located, this area, with its own french doors opens out to the terrace and gardens. Upon request, we can provide seating for 25, so larger groups can enjoy a meal together. Right across the hall to the other side, there is a spacious fully equipped kitchen, with a large table for 8 or more, ideal for less formal meals. Just outside the kitchen, in a covered area, a large table made of one single slab of marble, seats up to 18 people comfortably and is ideal for large reunions. The lovely built-in barbecue is just next to this seating area. Across the estate, Casa Grande boasts 5-6 bedrooms. With large dining terraces with beautiful sea views, Casa Grande can accommodate up to 14 people. There are also a large conservatory, a dining room and two fully equipped kitchenettes. With a large swimming pool, beautiful grounds in a 5000m2 private estate, close to the beach and the many attractions of Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra, this property offers an ideal setting for a perfect holiday. Here you find peace and privacy amongst the beauty and tranquillity of nature, but with all you might want close by. The large, covered pool means the water is warm enough for you to swim from April to November, sliding doors allow you to catch a cooling breeze in the hot summer months.
