CONVENIENCE: Conveniently located near shopping/grocery centers (1 mile), restaurants (5 mns), bus (in front of the house), 101 & 280 freeways (1 mile), airport (10 mns), downtown shopping/theaters (15 minutes), Bay bridge, Silicon Valley. Near City life while quiet. DINNER: Cook in and save or enjoy many close by trendy restaurants in the Mission and Potrero Hill districts. STYLE: Mediterranean, contemporary, artistic, romantic. High ceilings, hardwood floor, French doors, granite and marble in kitchen and bathroom. Our home feels very homey. You will find a bathroom and kitchen filled with what you need for a short stay (from shampoo to oil and vinegar). The fridge is partially full and you will find whatever the previous guest left (milk, butter, etc…). We left photographs, books, DVDs. It is a home full of life. Not a neutral hotel feel. GENERAL: Our home is located on the 1st floor in a 2 unit remodeled Victorian house. It has a deck with view which looks out onto the garden. Newly remodeled, it is furnished and equipped to a high standard. You are fully independent from the other unit. DECK: Adjacent to master bedroom, with umbrella and patio furniture for four. GARDEN: It belongs to other unit and cannot be used. SALON/DINING ROOM: has sectional suede sofa, flat screen TV, cable, WiFi (Wireless Internet), International DVD player, Music system. The dining table sits six comfortably. KITCHEN: Fully equipped with granite countertops and modern appliances: a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, toaster oven, coffeemaker, pots & pans, dishes and cutlery. MASTER BEDROOM: with beautiful view, wide window opening on the deck, queen size bed, flat screen TV and entertainment system, Cable TV, international DVD player, music system, fluffy European pillows and down comforter, luxurious linens & towels, dresser and a nice closet. BATHROOM: Marble walls and floors, granite countertop, a soaking tub/shower with European tiles, towels and robes. OFFICE: Working space with printer and WiFi (Wireless Internet). Just bring your laptop and connect. OTHER AMENITIES: include a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, luxurious robes, linens & towels. WASHER/DRYER: on premises (garage) for stay over a week only. SMOKING: Sorry no smoking allowed inside (smoking on the deck is ok). CLEANING: Stay over a month require a $100 cleaning fee (instead of $70 for short stay). We take very good care of our home, have beautiful art and decoration and would appreciate other very caring renters. BE AWARE: For those of you not familiar with San Francisco, please be aware that our beautiful city suffers from problems like anywhere else in the world. Here are a few tips to help you have a better experience in San Francisco. Homeless: With the economic recession, you will see more and more homeless people in every part of San Francisco, even in the most prestigious areas such as Nob Hill or the financial district. So please be prepared to see many of them during your stay in San Francisco. Car broken windows: You have no reasons to experience any problem IF you do not let any apparent object in your car. No matter where you park your car in the city, even the most prestigious areas, do NOT let any apparent object inside (CDs, cell phone, GPS, etc…). Parking tickets: With the economic recessions, the city of san Francisco distributes parking tickets for any slight mistakes. Do read the parking sign and put money in the meter. Do not let those unfortunate situations ruin your visit in lovely San Francisco :) Have a wonderful stay in San Francisco!

An equally easy walk to the famous cafés, clubs and Italian restaurants of North Beach, and to Chinatown’s bargains including exotic herbalists, imported gifts and all varieties of Asian restaurants. North Beach (Little italy) is a great location, very safe and you can walk to Downtown and Union Square (1.1 mile=23 min), Ferry Building 1.4 miles=30 min), the Embarcadero area and of course Fisherman's Warf 'is only 0.5 miles= 9 min. Coit Tower is only 3 blocks away. There are cable cars nearby, numerous world renowned restaurants, shops and, for the more adventurous, bike, Go Cart and Segway rentals. Trader Joes and Safeway are both only three blocks away. The newly renovated kitchen with slate counter tops and new appliances is fully stocked. Fresh linens and towels, hardwood floors, cozy furniture and 11 foot ceilings gives the apartment a comfortable and spacious feel. As the bottom apartment on a fairly flat street it makes coming and going effortless. Extra 5th and 6th guests can sleep in the living room on the sofa bed. If you come back early evening, you might be lucky to find a free parking spot on the street, but please don't forget to read the street sign for the time and day of the street cleaning, so you might have to move your car to other spot early the next morning. Alternative solution: there are a several public parking garage within 2~3 blocks from my building, it costs about $10~$30 per night. Or better yet, you don't even need a car to stay at my studio. You can walk to alot of places from my studio and it's a lot of fun and exercise. You also can take public transportations or taxi in the city. From the airport, you can take BART to my apartment, I will give you the details if you need. Hope this information helps.
