The Mission District is similar to the East Village in New York with many restaurants, shops, art galleries, book stores and little theaters. It is a hip and vibrant neighborhood. We are located in the middle of it all and only one block from the 16th Street BART subway station so public transportation is simple. The apartments have been recently remodeled and look beautiful with new hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, breakfast islands and hand picked furniture. The apartments come completely furnished with a full size bed, table & chair, TV, DVD player, dishes, appliances, linens, etc. The rent includes all utilities, phone, cable and high speed internet through a cable modem. There is a one time cleaning fee of $175 and a security deposit of $1,000 which can be paid with visa or mastercard on the day you arrive. There is also a parking lot right across the street that rents space for about $200/month. Check in appointments can be made between 10am and 6:30pm. Description:Hey there! Please view calendar for availability. This is a 1 bedroom / 1 bath apartment with kitchen that opens into a dining room / living room area. Spacious back porch with plants and hummingbird feeder ideal for outdoor meals or just a cup of morning coffee. You’ll have the place all to yourself. Location: Middle of the Mission District (near Guerrero and 19th) 5 1/2 blocks from BART 2 1/2 blocks from major bus lines and Muni. 1 block from Dolores Park Surrounded by nightlife, coffee shops, restaurants, bookstores, taquerias, etc. Good stuff: • Quiet, especially for this location. Apartment is at back of a 2-unit building, so street and building noise is minimal. EDIT - The upstairs neighbors just had a a baby. The baby cries sometimes, but you can barely hear it in the bedroom. I occasionally sleep with earplugs and then can't hear it at all. • Full kitchen with gas stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, pots, pans, wine glasses, and pretty much everything else you could need. • Help yourself to sugar, flour, oil, etc. if you decide to cook. Walk only a few blocks to popular destinations like Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Hyde Street Pier, North Beach (Little Italy), Russian Hill, and the Embarcadero. The famous San Francisco cable car stops ½ block from the property and takes you up Russian Hill, through Nob Hill, down to Union Square and Market Street (down-town shopping area). Walk one block to bus lines that take you East, West, and South through the City, to many of San Francisco's great attractions. It's in a beautiful, architecturally significant building at Jackson and Webster. A bunch of muni lines are within 1 block, you're 1 block to fillmore and a few blocks to union street. I will be away visiting my family in Fresno for a few weeks but available if anything should come up. The apartment was recently renovated last year, has wood floors, a large bedroom with comfortable queen size bed (with hygienic vinyl mattress cover unused by anyone previously). Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn furniture, a 50 HDTV and awesome hifi Dynaudio speakers. South facing windows fill an entire wall, so there is always plenty of natural light. The unit is on the first floor above the garage. The kitchen is well-appointed, with black granite and a variety of small appliances (ice cream maker! Yogurt maker! Waffle iron!) for you to use. Most of my stuff will remain in the apartment, including an interesting and varied library you're welcome to peruse. There is plenty of storage, so you'll have an entire closet available tor your use (and possibly more). Other awesome features! - Huge Lovesac comfy beanbag chair - ...and, a new, high quality Octane Elliptical Trainer, right by the window! Yes, you've got your own elliptical machine right in the apartment. It's great, it's a club-quality machine. - Ionic air filter - Desk with printer and monitor you're free to plug in to. Utilities $150 /month pro rated and cleaning fee $100 additional. Deposit of $1000.
