Description:VILLAS DIAMOND K is located in an upscale residential neighborhood (map available at our site www.cozumelrentalcondos.com and more pictures at www.pbase.com/cozumelmx) on the main avenue to town. We are approximately 10 blocks from the ocean and Cozumel 's largest town, San Miguel. We are on the west side of the island which is the most developed. The east side of the island is mostly undeveloped except for 10 or so bar/restaurant establishments that cater to the daily beach visitors. San Miguel has two public beaches. One each on the north and south end of town. Its a short easy walk or bike ride to town. A taxi can get you there for 20 to 30 pesos. Pick it up out front and they will drop you off where ever you want. Even with our location being residential it doesn 't mean we lack commercial venues such as restaurants, markets or activities. Some of the islands best restaurants are a short walk. There is a gourmet coffee/pastry shop just accross the street. The town largest sports field is two blocks away with everything available from tenis, basketball, soccer (meets usually on the weekend) and a perfect walking/running track.
