The lakeside location combined with ample room for 8, makes this an ideal situation for a large family or two families on vacation. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen all have views over the lake and mountain range. The living areas are heated with a heat pump or you can start a fire in the log burner. The bedrooms all have panel heaters and electric blankets.A wide range of summer and winter activities are close at hand. Some of the best trout fishing is outside the front door, while opportunities for swimming, biking, canoeing, and exploring are a stones throw away. In winter, the Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski fields are within an hour's drive. After skiing, return to the stunning views at the house or visit the cafe-bars located within easy walking distance of the house.
