The combined kitchen, living and dining area open up onto an inviting deck which boasts the most stunning views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains and also includes a barbecue for those summer evenings. The master bedroom has an ensuite with twin basins, spa bath, walk in wardrobe, flat screen television and opens up onto a separate deck with a hot tub to relax in after a hard day's skiing. The two other bedrooms also have their own private ensuites and built in wardrobes. The games room is situated on the ground floor complete with a pool table and atmosphere to ensure an entertaining at night. Under floor heating and a gas fireplace is provided and a double garage with internal access is also available for parking. This home is well designed to maximise privacy and space and allows you room to move. Surrounded by majestic alpine scenery, we are only 15 minutes from the bright lights of Queenstown and 5 minutes from the quaint and historical settlement of Arrowtown and The Hills course - home of the NZ Open Golf Championship. Award - winning Millbrook Resort is also close by (just three minutes' drive from the front gate of Willowbrook) and we are within easy reach of 5 skifields and 4 very picturesque golf courses. The four acres of mature garden surrounding the Main House of Willowbrook contain a tennis court, a luxurious spa pool and some very friendly sheep. Our self-catering accommodation comprises The COTTAGE and The BARN. Both are within the gardens of Willowbrook only a short distance from The Main House. The COTTAGE provides delightfully comfortable accommodation for four people. It has queen and twin single bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom (one with large wet area and bathtub). Full kitchen and laundry facilities ensure that all the conveniences of home are at your fingertips. The Cottage has wireless broadband for your laptop, Sky TV for your entertainment and there is a gas barbecue on the sundeck which surrounds The Cottage. Views are up to Coronet Peak and over wetlands to the west. The BARN is a tastefully renovated hay barn consisting of two very large rooms and is perfect for those looking for a self-catering environment. The main room has a super king bed, ensuite bathroom, lounge area, dining table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchenette. Through a connecting door, The Annex has twin single and bunk beds and is available for extra members of the same party. On the sunny north side of The Barn is a covered deck with gas barbecue - the perfect spot to relax in the shade in the summer (or to tune-up those skis in the winter!)

Description:Solstice-on-Kent is a superbly comfortable and modern home that sleeps 10 with stunning uninterrupted panoramic views over Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables and Walter Peak together with spectacular views over the town. The house is positioned perfectly in Queenstown’s dress circle with a seven-minute walk to the town center whilst taking full advantage of the elevated views. The Queenstown Hill walking track also runs right alongside the property. Set over three levels the house comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus a further 2 amenities rooms, a kitchen, lounge and dining area plus a further separate formal lounge. All tiled areas have underfloor heating, as well as a heat pump in the family area and gas fire in the formal lounge. Three of the bedrooms have Super King beds, two of which can be split into King singles. The fourth bedroom has a Queen bed. All beds are of excellent quality and have been chosen for a wonderful nights sleep. The fully equipped designer kitchen is open to the living and dining room to take advantage of the spectacular views. The family room and formal lounge have doors that open out onto balconies as do two of the bedrooms, all with superb views. Both bathrooms are modern and have separate showers and bath. The laundry has a new automatic washing machine and dryer. There are three flat-screen televisions, each with Sky digital television with teletext, in the living room, formal lounge and main bedroom. There are also DVD players in both of the lounge areas and a surround sound system with ipod dock in the living room. Free Wireless internet is available. Telephone is connected for local calls. There is room for 2 cars in the Garage which has remote controls with further off street room for another 3 cars. A barbecue is also available. There is usually a minimum stay of 5 nights but shorter stays are possible by arrangement. Solstice-on-Kent is a non-smoking house.
