Description:Located on the first floor of an elegant early 20th century building, the Apartment Bernini lies on a peaceful side street ( Via degli Avignoienesi ) and it is proximate to Piazza Barberini, Via Veneto, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. n nOur recently restored 170 square meters property features an elegant and contemporary style and is fitted with all the modern comforts. n nSleeping up to 10 people, the apartment overlooks a delightful garden on one side and the courtyard of the building on the other side. Due to this reason the flat is extremely quiet both day and night. n nFrom the entrance hall the apartment opens onto a large living room furnished with sofas and an LCD satellite TV. This space leads to a dining room furnished with a large wooden table and leather chairs to accommodate all the guests that will be staying at the apartment. n nThe unit has five bedrooms: four double bedrooms and one bedroom with twin single beds. Passing through one of the bedrooms it is possible to have access to a terrace overlooking the garden, one of the many hidden behind the fac3a7ade. One other bedroom is provided with a small balcony overlooking the courtyard as well. n nAll the bedrooms are furnished with black leather beds and large white wardrobes. Description:If you are looking for the savage and unspoilt soul of Sardinia this charming and comfortable villa is your ideal place. It is situated in the South-Western part of Sardinia, at 1,5 km from Porto Pino, a seaside location which takes its name from the wide surrounding pine forest. The area is renowned for its beautiful 4 km long bay with sandy beaches and majestic white dunes enhancing the blue color of the sparkling sea. At the end of the bay is a totally wild beach part of a military zone accessible only in summer. A special attraction are also the several ponds in the surroundings, where it is possible to admire amazing pink flamingoes which complete a natural picture of a unique beauty. Description:The Casale Sonnino, located 40 minutes from the city center, sits on a hilltop that once belonged to the Roman Senator Caius Julius Cornutus Tertullus in 100 AD. Traces of his ancient residence such as fragments of columns and walls have emerged from the soil and now enhance the ambiance of the garden. The cistern of the ancient villa lies in the Casale's basement which also features a Roman well, Roman arches and a system of caves dating back to at least the 12th Century. Over the years, these caves have been used for storing wine, growing mushrooms and even for a scene in an Italian feature film. Make sure you ask for a tour when you visit the Casale! n nThe design of the Villa itself is long and narrow with two staircases rather than a central one - this is typical of late 17th and 18th Century Roman country houses. The building was renovated from a rustic farmhouse to an elegant family home in 1948 by our grandparents and the three bathrooms were updated in the 1990's by our mother. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large terrace with 180 degree views stretching from Rome to the Apennine Mountains. Here, our guests like to sit outside with their favorite beverage or play ping pong while watching the stars twinkle over the eternal city. New Years Eve, with fireworks popping up all over, is a sight to behold! Downstairs, life revolves around the vintage country kitchen which has all the amenities: dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, pots, pans and and interesting collection of spices for whatever feast you are cooking up.
