Description:Townsend Lodge: Is located right in the middle of Townsend. Belinda & Terry of River stone Lodge Purchased this Motel August of 2008 and we have made every tempt to make it as unique as River stone Lodge. First we have built a large wood deck across the front with a nice fire pit. We have a campfire every night which everyone just loves. Roasting marsh mellows, hot dogs & making smores is just awsome. Plenty of outdoor furniture on deck making it comfortable to relax and watch the old cars & motorcycles riding by. Really nice, private swimming pool clean & beautiful. New carpet every room, new renovation with antique furniture & 32 flat screen TVs in every room. We are within just minutes of everything to do here in the Smokes. We are 1 mile from the entrance to the National Park. Cades Cove is approx. 8 miles from here. Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg are less that a 30 minute beautiful drive. This is just a great place. Not the Hilton but who cares. One rule: have a great day!

What's more, Riverstone is only 1/2 mile from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and approximately 8 miles from Cades Cove. Riverstone Family Restaurant is conveniently located right here on the grounds. Great food and great service are just a few steps from your room. And guests at our Lodge get 10% off every meal at the restaurant. We have several activities right here on the property for you to enjoy. One minute walk and your right on The Little River. We have a large deck in our park area with a 4 foot fire pit in the middle of it where we have a beautiful campfire every night, even in the winter. Rocking chairs all around it. On most every weekend we have bluegrass/country bands to entertain our guest. Sit out by the fire and watch kids t ask for a better place than right here, so you will just have to come & see for yourself. We are family owned and opperated so we are usually, always less rates than everyone since we don't have all those other expences.
