Description:Located in a QUIET street surrounded by holiday houses this deceptively ordinary looking lovingly renovated three bedroom house is a pleasant house waiting to be discovered. Fully self contained for six adults and two children it is suitable for a two family group. It has two super comfortable KS double beds (one does zip apart if required) and the third bedroom has three single beds. The lounge has a fold out double sofa bed. Well furnished with leather chesterfield in the main bedroom there is plenty of space to move. The two bathrooms are both en suite to the front two bedrooms. A large spa bath is available. There is reverse cycle air conditioning and an open gas coal fire in winter. Access to the house is via a ramp. One of the large bedrooms and bathrooms is wheel chair friendly. The modern kitchen and dining room open on to the patio through French doors and have polished hardwood floors. We are dog and child friendly. The backyard is deep and uncluttered and ideal for your pooch or backyard games with the children. Plenty of room for a boat behind a secure gate and fence. Eat al fresco under a large liquid amber tree. The beach, shops and restaurants and takeaway shops are at the end of the street 350 metres away.

Description:Haffey's Hideaway is our family holiday home In Dromana. It is about one hour's drive from Melbourne. Dromana is a convenient base for exploring the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula. The area is famous for its beaches (both bay and surf) golf courses, wineries, national parks and tourist attractions. Haffey's Hideaway is located in a quiet street at the northern end of Dromana. It is on the beach side of the freeway. You can walk to the beach in around 7 minutes (we timed it!) and to the township in arout 10 minutes. Dromana has everything you could need, including a supermarket. There are a range of restaurants, including the impressive Dee's kitchen. Haffey's Hideaway comprises a two-bedroom main cottage and two-bedroom cabin. The main cottage and cabin are linked by a deck. In total, there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. This flexible set-up is ideal for one large family with older children, two small families, or a group. The entire property is fenced, and there is plenty of room for children to play. We even have a 14 foot trampoline. The main cottage contains the kitchen and open plan dining / living area. The kitchen is basic, but very well equipped. The kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. The living area has a large digital TV, DVD player and ipod/iphone dock. (The cabin has a digital TV too.) Both the main cottage and cabin have airconditioning and heating. There is a large washing machine in the main house. If you would like a portacot and/or high chair, please let us know and we will be pleased to provide them. For nearly all of the year you can rent Haffey's Hideaway for a weekend for less than $500 or for a minimum of three week nights for $190 per night. In high summer (24 Dec - 3 Feb) we have a 7 night minimum. Linen is not provided unless requested, at a cost of $25 per person per stay. This means you need to bring pillowcases, sheets, towels, tea towels, bath mats, etc.

I recently have had a seachange and now live and work in Sorrento with my partner Juliet. We live in the apartment below that has its own separate entrance. The seaside village of Sorrento is one of the most popular and pretty holiday escapes on the Mornington Peninsula. Sorrento”s position at the southern extremity of the peninsula at the entrance to Port Phillip Bay provides a sweeping outlook. The town is known for its historic buildings, cafés, shopping and resident population of Bottlenose Dolphins.
