Description:We offer a two story cabin for rent on a nightly, weekly and monthly basis. It's tastefully decorated with Yukon history and art, and comes complete with a view of Crag Lake. n nCabins Over Crag Lake is located about an hour (or less) of Whitehorse, Yukon and Skagway, Alaska and we're just 12 kms from Carcross, Yukon where the White Pass & Yukon Route Trains stops on the shores of beautiful and historic Bennet Lake. n nCabin #1 has a queen bed upstairs and the bathroom Downstairs has a queen futon and full kitchen including a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and all the necessary cooking needs. Beds are complimented with a duvet and nice sheets. n nCabin #1 is also complimented with plenty of movies, a BBQ, picnic tables, fire pits and plenty of fire wood. n nThe area that surrounds us features world class fishing, boating and some of the best mountain biking trails in world: n nNearby Montana Mountain is only 15 kms away and is a growing attraction for mountain bikers and hikers (see the link below). Carcross is located at the foot of historic Bennett Lake. Prospectors in the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush streamed past here after hiking the Chilkoot Trail. In the summertime, Carcross is the last stop for the White Pass and Yukon Route historic railway out of Skagway (link below). As well, old mining roads abound with opportunity to get off the beaten path and the water opportunities here are endless. Bennett, Tagish, Marsh & Atlin Lakes are all within easy reach and offer hundreds of miles to explore. As well, there are numerous smaller lakes nearby, both (some stocked) for fishing or canoeing. We have a canoe available for rent. n nFor the less adventurous, local tour guides offer daily or longer excursions both into the mountains or out on to the lakes. Summertime in the Yukon brings sunshine, warmth and many great activities and festivals. Namely, the town of Atlin hosts the Atlin Music Festival and is only 1 1/2 hours away. Though not for everyone, a cold, snowy Yukon winter often has plenty of sunshine play outside in. Favorite activities are cross country skiing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, and ice skating.
