Because of the main level open floor plan, you'll enjoy preparing sumptuous dinners while visiting with your loved ones, relaxing on the down couches and wicker chaise lounges. The upper level has three bedrooms and two full bathroom, one with a shower and the other a jetted tub. Pets are NOT allowed. NO Smoking allowed in this home on the decks or on the docks. Smoking in any of these areas is cause for loss of your security deposit!! The master bed is a Swedish made Duxianna bed that you'll wish you could take with you at the end of your stay. There is even a sitting area adjacent to the California king-size bed. Just around the corner is another sitting room and adjacent to another bedroom, great if you have a little one that needs to sleep near you but still separate. This home is about 3,400 sqft and three levels. It can easily accommodate 6 people and sleeps up to 10 people. This home is great for a family gathering including extended family. The kitchen is well appointed with Viking Range and Decor oven. The dining table sits 10 people with extra chairs it can easily handle 14 people. Not to miss the hot tub on the floating deck in the rear of the property that looks out onto the water and Mount Tamalpais.

House decorated in keeping with the Early California Spanish Revival theme. The house is two miles up from the beginning of the road, the ultimate get away spot. Private! Sauna, Hot tub with view, endless swimming pool to exercise without those bothersome turns! Indoor private whirlpool tub in master bath with full view of Mt. Diablo. The gourmet kitchen is well stocked. Not the kind of place you have to wonder if they have pepper. We stay here a lot, so there is always flour, sugar, syrups, most everything you need already here. Two BBQ's outside, one propane and one for charcoal BBQ lovers. Two outdoor patio heaters. n This is a wonderful place for watching sunsets with your friends or host a family reunion event. The large HD TV has premium channels, but what is there to see but the Giants games? Turn the TV toward the front patio and sit on the deck with a beer. Watch the fog roll in over the Oakland hills. What could be better than that? n Although once you get here you probably won't want to leave, but we are only ten minutes from highway 24 and the Lafayette BART station for SF day trips. The tony city of Walnut Creek is a shoppers paradise, Nordstrom's, Macy's, Pottery Barn, and currently under construction Neiman Marcus. Lots of night life and wonderful restuarants including McCovey's, Bing Cosby's, Prima's. n There is a wonderful bike trail throught Lafayette and Moraga. The walk around the Lafayette Reservior is 3 miles. Many locals follow the Reservior walk with coffee at Starbuck's or Peet's or Noah's Bagel right down town. n The house is decorated with antiques and leather furniture for the most part. The full size bear welcomes you into the family room which is home to antlers we picked up in Alaska and a oxen yoke we got at an antique store. The house gives and immediate sense of being in another time, place, or age. You won't want to leave! n There are three bedrooms in the carpeted bedroom wing. Two kings and a queen. One of the kings shares a marbled bathroom with the queen room. The master bedroom has a split adjustable temurpedic king bed. Amazing comfortable sleep. nIn the loft above the front room is another king bed with a set of bunks near the door to the upstairs patio. The loft has a small refrigerator and coffeemaker for those who want to go out on the upper deck and watch the sunrise in peace.
