Description:The condo is situated at the Santa Maria Resort at the south end of the island within walking distance of excellent restaurants, bars and shops. 300m. from a golf course and across the road from the 7 miles of sandy beach. The Santa Maria complex offers the largest swimming pool on the island, two hot tubs, three bar-b-q areas, mantatee viewing deck and boat marina (use of dock also available upon request). There are boat and pontoon hire facilities available at Fish Tail Marina next door to Santa Maria. FMB is close to Sanibell Island and Naples. Locally there is Lovers Key State Park and it is also close to the large shopping malls of Miromar and Tanger Outlets. FMB is also only 30 minutes from South West Florida international Airport. The condo has recently been upgraded with wood flooring throughout. it is fully equipped with all bed linen, towels and beach and pool towels. FMB is approximately 3 hours from Orlando theme parks and 2 1/2 hours from Tampa.Nearest Beach: beach at 200 Metres The condo is located within the Santa Maria Resort with the largest swimming pool on the island, two jacuzzi's. Keypad entry to the secure gated pool area. 7 mile sandy beach with a lagoon for excellent fishing and bird watching, Lovers Key State Park with cycling tracks, guided tours and unspoilt empty beaches, 5 minutes drive. Boat and kayak hire available locally. Dock hire available with condo upon request. Golf course next door to Santa Maria Resort. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. 2 Shopping malls and 2 outlet centers within 20-30 minutes drive. Nearby cinema.Fantastic Condo Fort Myers Beach: Review Submitted: January 3, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2010 We stayed here for a week in July and found the owner very helpful and friendly as were the management agents (TriStar). They keys were easy to pick up and the apartment easy to find with map provided. Real gem of a find, like home from home and just opposite the beautiful beach. Set on a lovely marina with pool just a few steps away and we were lucky enough to see manatee in the marina. Lots of things to do boat hire next door, Sanibel a short drive and near enough to drive down to the Everglades. This is a great Condo, clean and well equiped and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore this lovely area of Florida.
