Everything about this immaculate two-story renovated 1912 house from the spotless white, red and black chefs ' dream kitchen to the light-washed, garden-themed upstairs master bedroom with its distant water views, tells you that you have relinquished the cares of everyday life for an escape into relaxation, rejuvenation and fun. If a house could have a disposition, this ones ' would be sunny. This is not the generic atmosphere of a motel or hotel, this is a home filled with personality and warmth. Sea otter memorabilia displayed throughout reflects the owner 's passion for these enchanting creatures, which can be seen frolicking off the nearby shoreline. Among its special features are a two-person hot tub (complete with spa robes) situated in a private patio, a hammock, an upstairs enclosed balcony for star gazing, a wood-burning fireplace in the living room and much more. nThe master suite has a queen bed. a small sitting area with white wicker furniture and distant ocean views. There is a bathroom with tub/shower located off the master suite. n nThe main floor features a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a large comfortable sofa and love seat and TV. The guest bedroom off the living room features a queen-size bed and a bookcase full of inspirational reading material. The dining room can accommodate up to 12 seated at the table, and there are sliding glass doors out to a private enclosed deck with patio furniture and a BBQ grill. n nThe stunning, recently updated kitchen is the heart of the home and the owner 's passion. Helpful hint: read my Guidebook for a few more free wifi spots. Subject to increased nightly price on certain high demand dates, and seasonal rate changes - check listing calendar as varying rates are always posted in advance. At this time, I'm sorry to report that I can no longer allow pets to stay at my rental. :( REGARDING DIRECTIONS TO MY RENTAL, PLEASE READ One of the best features of my studio is that it is a separate, detached, and very private unit from the main house on the property, with its own separate private parking space, fenced yard, and it's own, separate entrance. For these reasons, I give booked guests SIMPLE, exact directions on how to reach the studio, and I meet them there to check in. The studio has the same address as the front house, but is at the rear of the property and is accessed by an alley which runs parallel the full length of Pacheco Ave.. I always provide exact directions via email after bookings, SO PLEASE FOLLOW THEM AND MEET ME THERE, NOT AT THE MAIN HOUSE, (simply because if I am awaiting your arrival at your actual destination, I will not hear you knocking on the door of a different house). Again, if you overlook what's described here and just follow your GPS, you will end up at the wrong place. Thanks and happy travels!

Description:Sunshine Beach Cottage nThe Sunshine Beach Cottage is just a short stroll to the unique Village of Capitola and the large sandy beach. The Cottage is charmingly furnished with light and lovely details. Enjoy the 42 flat screen TV in the living room with its satellite reception over the mantle of the gas fireplace. nThe separate dining area seats up to 6 and is next the full kitchen with a gas stove, dishwasher and more. The kitchen has a large set of dishes in a variety of rainbow colors to enjoy using. There are two bedrooms, each with Queen Beds. There is also a fun little cottage in the back yard that has 2-Twin beds, in bunk style. nThe second little cottage in the back houses the washer and dryer and 2-bicycles. The fenced-in backyard has two small brick patios and a grassy lawn area that is great for pets and kids to frolic in. The nicely decorated living room has a double sleeper sofa. This is a truly cozy and pretty home. nThe back yard is full of flowers and nice green grass, as is the front of the home which has a partially fenced-in yard. The Capitola Village is an easy 7-blocks stroll down a slight slope.
