The main deck is next to the great room with several outdoor chairs and an outdoor table with umbrella. nLocated in a very quiet Rio Del Mar neighborhood with no through traffic, the Aptos creek offers a charming stroll down to the Rio Del Mar beach and the Seacliff Beach/State Park. The Rio Del Mar esplanade offers excellent deli 's and a coffee shop and a fine seafood restaurant called the Rio Cafe. All the restaurants have an ocean view! nThis well-decorated home 2 levels with lots of space. The 1st floor has 2 Queen bedrooms and 1 large bedroom/den with a Queen innerspring futon & 2 twin beds. For your enjoyment, you 'll find a foosball table, VCR/DVD player and an assortment of board games including a backgammon set. There is a computer in one of the downstairs bedrooms for guests use. nThe 2nd floor has a master bedroom with a Queen bed and a private deck with a table and 2 chairs, great for your morning cup of coffee or for late evening relaxing. This home has 4 bedrooms with 3-1/4 baths (3 baths and an outdoor shower). The living room, with its great ocean and beach view, is long, spacious and great for get-togethers. nThe master bedroom has a King bed with ocean views and the other 3 bedrooms have two extra long Twin beds which can be pushed together to make King beds. There is a Queen Sofa sleeper and a Twin sofa sleeper in the living room. The downstairs den has a large flat screen TV, a Queen sofa sleeper and a Twin trundle for extra sleeping space. The Twin trundle can be combined for a short King bed. nThe dining area seats up to 16 guests plus 3 counter stools next to the kitchen counter. The outside deck has a spectacular ocean view above the 26th Avenue beach, a gas BBQ and many tables and chairs. If you walk to the left about 1/2 block, there is an area known as Moran Beach and there is a lagoon with ducks. Across the street at that area is a parking lot with bathrooms. nWithin a short drive or bike ride to the northeast is the Santa Cruz Harbor with kayak/boat rentals and great restaurants. To the southeast is the area of Pleasure Point - famous for surfing - with fun shops and restaurants. The unique barrel shaped wooden hot tub fits up to 4 comfortably, but is best suited for 2. Above the hot tub is a private platform under a beautiful pepper tree and there are purple mood lights on the side of the house for the night-time tub dippers.
