Description:Lighthouse View Villa nLighthouse View Villa is a top of the world, 3-story home that has one of the BEST views in Santa Cruz. From the top deck, you can see the lighthouse at the end of the Harbor, the famous Giant Dipper at the Boardwalk, the Santa Cruz wharf, the Twin Lakes Lagoon & the Surfer Museum Lighthouse! This deck has 2 lounge chairs to relax in and a hot tub big enough for 4-6 guests. nThe Lighthouse View Villa is just 4-houses to the beach and a 30-second walk to the sand. Enjoy the spectacular ocean view from the master bedroom with a private deck that has a patio table and chairs for your morning coffee. This is luxurious living at its best. nThe large kitchen has four bar stools at a teak counter, teak cabinets, & a Jen-Aire inside grill on the stove top! There is also a high top table with six chairs. The deck has a gas BBQ and a four person table right outside. The vaulted ceiling living room has a very large sectional couch as well as other chairs to enjoy the flat screen TV with a DVD player or to get cozy by the fireplace. Close to the living room there is also a 1/2 bath. nThis spacious, well decorated & comfortable home has stained glass windows with silk rose and shell decorations. There are three bedrooms downstairs. The first bedroom has one queen bed with a TV. There is a full bath with a shower between the 1st and 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a king bed with a private door to the bathroom. Also downstairs past the hallway there is a door that makes the 3rd bedroom with 2 Pullman-style bunk beds (built into the walls) with cozy reading lamps and a dresser. Just past these beds is a queen futon that makes into a bed. nThe 4th bedroom is on the 2nd floor. This elegant & spacious master bedroom has a king bed, 42 inch flat-screen TV and a double vanity bathroom with a large tile shower area and a marvelous view of the ocean. Enjoy the view from the attached outdoor deck with 4 person table with umbrella to enjoy your morning coffee. nDownstairs, go out the back door to the rear of the home where there is space for 3 cars to park located off an alley. There is also parking for 1 or 2 cars in front of the home and 2 parking permits to park on the street are required during the high season (Approx April 1-until after Labor Day, just during the weekends.) Description:The Blue Whale nThe Blue Whale is a unique house that has one home upstairs and one downstairs. This setup makes it great for family reunions and group retreats. You get the best of two worlds: everyone is together, yet there is plenty of privacy with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens and 2 hot tubs. Grandpa and Grandma can stay on the ground level if they don 't want to always walk upstairs, and they can watch their little grandkids play in the enclosed front patio downstairs. Moms, Dad, Uncles, Aunts & Cousins can BBQ on the deck upstairs, dine outdoors, lounge in the sun, have a glass of wine and watch the ocean and the Sunsets. Teenagers can quickly walk the 90-steps to the beach. When they come back they can use the warm water outdoor showers to remove sand and jump in one of the two hot tubs. For dinner, you can use the large kitchen, dining and living room area and everyone can gather upstairs and enjoy the great setup with the large dining table, living room, fireplace, and deck with the view. After dinner, all can stroll to the Seacliff State Beach Park 's wharf, down to the cement ship and watch the sunset from the wharf. nThe whole house has: wireless internet, LCD HD flat screen TVs, stereo, linens with beds freshly made, towels, bathroom sink amenities, boogie boards and assorted bicycles. nThe upstairs home has great views from the large balcony including a beautiful view of the beach. There are 3 comfortable bedrooms, a kitchen, laundry, dining and living room areas. You can comfortably sleeps up to 10-guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Other amenities include a fireplace, large deck with an ocean view, BBQ grill and deck furniture. The hot tub is located on the ground level down a quick set of stairs. Description:Welcome to Beach Nutz, our elegantly funky and fun vacation home in the very special Rio del Mar beach community, part of the delightful old town of Aptos. To discover Rio del Mar is to discover something that seems as if it could only exist in fiction or a movie - Big Fish? Pleasantville? Yellow Submarine? -bits of these come to mind but there is something sublime about Rio del Mar. It 's easy, everything you need: beach, esplanade, best coffee shop, excellent restaurant, great deli/lunch place all less than 150 paces. Excellent bird and people watching. It has charm but not that dripping-cutsey-congested-kind we 're more mid-twentieth century retro. Yet there 's a feeling of timelessness bestowed by the ancient giant palms along the esplanade, and cyprus all around the cliffs. And we 're relaxed, friendly, and full of character(s). The busiest season is summer Californians have been escaping the heat here for years-over 150, the history is rich and so are the sights, but when it 's time for sunset you 'll want to retreat to the quiet and peaceful charm of Rio del Mar and to the roof garden atop Beach Nutz for a 360 degree view of sun dropping behind Capitola, and twilight blanketing all of our cliffs, canyon, beach and surf, flats and creek, and have a last evening look south to Carmel and north to Pleasure Point and Santa Cruz.

This is an entire house rental, you won't be sharing. The house has 2 bedrooms: one with a king bed, the other with a queen. There is a shared bath. There is a gas stove in the kitchen, and you are welcome to cook during your stay. There is space to store bikes, around back of the house, and lots of great biking, whatever your skill level, nearby. The house is within walking distance to the downtown pedestrian area, with plenty of restaurants, and fun boutique shops. Also the beach/surf/boardwalk is a half mile away. We love to share our home with folks who appreciate good design, and a great location.
