Subject to increased nightly price on certain high demand dates, and seasonal rate changes - check listing calendar as varying rates are always posted in advance. At this time, I'm sorry to report that I can no longer allow pets to stay at my rental. :( REGARDING DIRECTIONS TO MY RENTAL, PLEASE READ One of the best features of my studio is that it is a separate, detached, and very private unit from the main house on the property, with its own separate private parking space, fenced yard, and it's own, separate entrance. For these reasons, I give booked guests SIMPLE, exact directions on how to reach the studio, and I meet them there to check in. The studio has the same address as the front house, but is at the rear of the property and is accessed by an alley which runs parallel the full length of Pacheco Ave.. I always provide exact directions via email after bookings, SO PLEASE FOLLOW THEM AND MEET ME THERE, NOT AT THE MAIN HOUSE, (simply because if I am awaiting your arrival at your actual destination, I will not hear you knocking on the door of a different house). There are also 15-restaurants within a short walking or biking distance. nUse our 6 bikes to ride 12-minutes to the South, to the Village of Capitola with its large Beach, complete with volleyball courts, seaside restaurants, fun shops and delightful River path. About 20-min bike ride to the North is the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the West Coast 's longest and strongest remaining wooden roller coaster and FREE world-class entertainers on Friday nights during the summer. nThis Bungalow is very Pet Friendly with a 6ft-high fenced-in backyard and an outdoor shower for after beach sessions. For surfing enthusiasts, Bucks Beach Bungalow is in the Pleasure Point area, which is a short walk some of the worlds premier surf breaks (including Pleasure Point and The Hook.) Description:The Cottage at Green Gates is a Tidy 1 bed/1bath Tudor guest house situated on our large lot, a five minute walk from Asilomar State Beach. The cottage is offered fully furnished with kitchenette, organic fair trade coffee, selection of teas, and each morning we serve you a light breakfast. (i.e. scrambled eggs or yogurt granola, organic local fruit, homemade bread, etc.) Note: if you have food allergies or dietary limitations of any kind, please let us know in advance, we're happy to accommodate you! You should know a few things.... 1. We live in the main house full-time, and have 2 dogs. Though our dogs do not go in the guest cottage, if you suffer from severe pet allergies you should know that dogs do roam the yard from time to time, and there might have been a guest pup in the cottage prior to your reservation. Though we do clean the cottage thoroughly between guests, it is certainly likely that allergens could still be present. 2. Additionally, you should know that approximately once per week (usually Thursdays or Fridays) we have our weekly yard service. Sometimes the maintenance is relatively quiet (raking, trimming, etc.) and sometimes the situation is far more noisy (leaf blowers, weed whackers, and the like). Most guests haven't minded, but someone mentioned it recently and we figured going forward, our guests should know what to expect. 3. If you accidentally take the Aquarium Guest Passes with you when you depart, we will expect you to overnight them back to us at your expense so that we can offer the same courtesy to our next guests. 4. For reservations booked after May 2012, we are asking for a 2 night minimum. If you've booked prior to May 2012, we will absolutely honor your reservation for 1 night. Description:The Blue Whale nThe Blue Whale is a unique house that has one home upstairs and one downstairs. This setup makes it great for family reunions and group retreats. You get the best of two worlds: everyone is together, yet there is plenty of privacy with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens and 2 hot tubs. Grandpa and Grandma can stay on the ground level if they don 't want to always walk upstairs, and they can watch their little grandkids play in the enclosed front patio downstairs. Moms, Dad, Uncles, Aunts & Cousins can BBQ on the deck upstairs, dine outdoors, lounge in the sun, have a glass of wine and watch the ocean and the Sunsets. Teenagers can quickly walk the 90-steps to the beach. When they come back they can use the warm water outdoor showers to remove sand and jump in one of the two hot tubs. For dinner, you can use the large kitchen, dining and living room area and everyone can gather upstairs and enjoy the great setup with the large dining table, living room, fireplace, and deck with the view.
