Description:Enjoy a romantic getaway or just a few fun days at the beach in our 1-bedroom, 1-bath completely remodeled, vintage 1920's beach cottage. Located in Pleasure Point, 1-1/2 blocks from the ocean. Pleasure Point is a laid-back community in Santa Cruz and one of the premiere surfing spots in California, home to The Hook and The Point. This beach cottage is furnished in every detail with all new appliances -- refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher -- and a washer and dryer. It also has a hot and cold outside shower, great for taking a quick rinse after a day on the beach. All kitchen supplies and linens are provided. It is also equipped with a new 32 flat screen TV and DVD player. Wi-Fi access is available. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a double futon couch in the living room. We limit occupancy to two people. The cottage is a 5-minute drive or a leisurely half-hour stroll from the quaint seaside village of Capitola. It is also located just a few minutes drive from the commercial area where you can find all sorts of restaurants, a movie theater, grocery stores, etc. This is a quiet neighborhood so no partiers, please. Nightly rates: High Season (May through September) -- $195 Low Season (October through April) -- $175 Weekly rates: High Season (May through September) -- $1200 Low Season (October through April) -- $1050 Additional fees: 10% Transient Occupancy Tax $50 cleaning fee $300 security deposit for stays of five days or more (fully refundable if no damage is found) We require a reservation deposit at time of booking equal to one night's lodging.
