Description:Palazzo Bacile di Castiglione is situated in Spongano 44 kms from Lecce which is the main town in the area. Its economy is based mainly on the production of tobacco, olives and grain. Tabacchi Sotto is on the first floor and there are 4 spacious double bedrooms with splendid modern en suite bathrooms (shower and bath). The immense drawing-room with an open fireplace opens out onto a series of terraces, an ideal place to eat, overlooking the main courtyard and the palace gardens There is also a large kitchen (with dishwasher and washing-machine) and a fireplace. It is available all year round and has heating and log fires. Cost per week of Tabacchi Sotto includes bed linen and towels (weekly change), water, gas and electricity. Pets are not allowed. There are tennis courts in the village and various riding schools. On the edge of the village there are attractive lanes through the olive groves which are ideal for long walks or cycle rides. At Castro small and large motorboats and acqua scooters can be hired. Spongano is an ideal base to visit Southern Puglia, an area of great architectural, archeological, botanical, gastronomic and historic interest. The nearest coastal town Castro is 5 kms away. The town is divided into Castro Marina situated in one of the most beautiful bays of the whole coast, and Castro Alto, the ancient town situated in a panoramic position high up over the sea, with its 16th century castle and 12th century cathedral. There are also the Grotta della Zinzulusa, named after the dark limestone concretions which reminded the first fishermen who entered them of rags -zinzuli in the local dialect-that had been hung out to dry. It is known also for its particular underground fauna of tiny crustaceans unique to this cave which scientists believe have existed for over 200,000 years. Otranto is 30 kilometres away. Tourists today come to Otranto for the beauty of the surrounding coast and for the atmosphere its small medieval centre has maintained. The historical quarter, enclosed within the Aragonese walls, is indeed charming, its narrow, stone-flagged streets winding their way between the old whitewashed houses. The town is dominated by the Aragonese Castle and the solemn Romanesque Cathedral, which boasts the largest, most complex and best preserved sacred mosaic in southern Italy.

Description:An intimate urban retreat in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, this chic ‘villa-in-a-room’ residence concept offers acollection of Asia-inspired rooms. The 21 polished-concrete private rooms, each spanning from 600 square-feet to over 2000 square-feet of livingspace, are fitted with refined salvaged-timber floors and interiors. Furnished with tech-amenities, plush beds,over-sized plunge tubs and romantic balconies. While some ‘villas’ are fully-equipped with modern kitchens andprivate gardens, ground-floor rooms are with room-to-water access to the ‘Lagoon’.Housed within a quiet, upscale residential locale just minutes away from KL city centre,Villa Samadhi is a dream state.Best described as Kuala Lumpur's ultimate treat to nest in, Villa Samadhi is a villa-in-a-room residence in the capital city. One-of-a-kind in KL and tucked within an upscale locale, the villa is just 10 minutes drive from the vivacious parts of town like KLCSS and Bukit Bintang.Discreetly hidden from street view, the most distinguishing feature of Villa Samadhi is the massive, soaring grass thatched-roof that shouts 'Malaysia'. Open the bamboo-clad gate and the surprise is over, a façade in absolute russet harmony. Its collection of 21 contemporary Asian-inspired rooms is each with unique layout and spacious living areas spanning from 600 square-foot to over 2000 square-foot. The collage of natural elements with the prevalent use of timber, polished concrete and bamboo, creates a distinctively raw-yet-refined interior of earth tones and charcoal.Accented by bursts of red, gold, silver or cream decor to display striking contrast, specks of exquisite Asian antiques also add a touch of old to the new. This very concept of 'yin' and 'yang' created what we labled as Samadhi's quintessential 'Rustic-Luxe' experience.Villa Samadhi eludes from being a cookie-cutter hotel, ensuring each room bears individual character, shape and size.Categorized into a series of differently-priced black polished-concrete rooms, they are all fitted with refined salvaged-timber floors within a spacious landscape of over-sized plunge tubs and big bathrooms, romantic balconies, walk-in closets and lounge area, and furnished with high plush beds and tech-amenities like iPod dock, DVD player, cable TV, full mini bar and a wine fridge. While some are fully-equipped with modern kitchens and private gardens, all ground-floor rooms are with room-to-water access to the hotel's large 'blue lagoon'.Rooms are bedecked with stylish modern-Asian furniture with bursts of warm-colored upholstery in perfect contrast and compliment. Grazed by a series of hybrid lantern-chandalier, bedside or standing lamps of neo-Asian designs. By setting the right mood with changes in light, volume and angle of vision, rooms at Villa Samadhi are hence highly ambiance-centric.
