Description:Privately owned, self-catering rental with two bedrooms, one full bathroom and one cloakroom. Sleeps 4/5. n nJourney's End is one of a crescent of fourteen town houses which are all privately owned and individually furnished. The house is set in beautiful, mature, landscaped gardens with colourful planting and lawned areas. The magnificent weir pool being the central feature. Both the bedrooms, one double/one twin, and the bathroom are on the ground floor. The double has patio doors leading onto a south facing terrace overlooking the enclosed gardens to the swimming pool. Upstairs, patio doors lead from the lounge to the larger balcony again facing south. Along with A/con a log burner is fitted, making this an ideal base for a winter stay. There is a cloakroom and modern spacious dining/kitchen with full cooker, f-freezer, m-wave and w-machine. A small balcony, which overlooks the town to the west and enjoys the evening sun, leads off the kitchen. English Sky TV, music system, DVD and video are provided along with CD's, DVD's and video's to amuse Adults and Children. We have now added a PS2 and a Wii along with games. n nPLEASE NOTE: FOR YOUR AND OUR PEACE OF MIND. THE PROPERTY HAS AN ANNUAL SAFETY CHECK BY A QUALIFIED ENGINEER. You will experience a very friendly warm atmosphere. You will find a 'red' book that gives all the essential numbers, doctors, hospitals etc. It will also give guests suggestions of where to go, what to do and where to eat. More importantly the contact details of our friend and manager Chris. Like us he wants your stay to be memorable and will do his utmost to help you. Don't forget, with Sky TV installed you can still watch all your favourite programs. n nThe western area is the least developed part of the Algarve. It is famous for its coastal scenery and wonderful beaches, those on the west coast being especially popular with surfers. Walkers will enjoy the Cabo de Sao Vincente National park and the mountains to the north. The nearby historic town of Silves and the mountain area around Monchique are well worth visiting. Cape St Vincent, the most South Westerly point in mainland Europe is only 30 minutes away by car. The area has many attractions for children including a zoo and a water theme park. You can even swim with Dolphins. The various Safaris, water and land born, out of Lagos are enormous fun. Again Chris will advise and help. He is not quite superman but very close. n nAlthough car hire is recommended, it is not essential if you just want to relax around the pool and Luz beach. A train from Faro to Lagos is very cheap. An interesting journey! Taxis and shuttle buses are available direct from the airport. A good supermarket is just a 5 minute walk as are several excellent restaurants. (75 I am told, I must have a count) The local bus service is inexpensive and reliable. Taxi from Lagos is about c3a2e2809ac2ac7. nAn abundance of excursions will take you all over the Algarve. These are itemised in the red folder, our favorites are probably the Jeep Safari up into the Mountains, an interesting day out, lots of history, or the Dolphin Seafari, the boat trip has to be experienced. Description:The Villa is located in the area of Quelfes. The name of the urbanization is Cerro Azul and consists of a few nice, spacious and luxury villas. The area is very quiet, calm, peaceful and safe. The Villa is approx. 10 minutes distance (by car) from the centre of town, where you find lots of restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, coffes. In the immediate neighbourhood there are restaurants and only a few minutes from the prettiest beaches. Large and comfortable rooms with bathroom en suite, most with balcony, and you will enjoy a superb maintenance service. The garden has a 10x5 swimming pool and the Villa has all the facilities to make your holiday pleasant, a fire place and Satellite T.V.
