It belonged to the noble Florentine families of Cavalcanti and Filippo Strozzi the Younger. Confiscated by the 1st Duke of Florence, Alessandro de` Medici, in 1599 was sold to the Spedale di Santa Maria Nuova in Florence, which held it for several centuries before returning as a property to the Strozzi family. r nArchipettoli is an ideal base for exploring the cultural heritage of Tuscany.
