Description:The Moose House is a very comfortable, fully equipped cabin in the woods at Lake Cushman on the Olympic Peninsula. This cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, but can accommodate more with special arrangement. (2 Queen Beds, 1 Double, 1 Double Click-Clack Sofa) You'll love the high vaulted ceilings and large picture windows that look out into the Olympic rainforest. n nIt's a short walk to crystal clear Lake Cushman where you'll see beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and have full access to all the amentities of the Community Park - boat launch, dock, playground, horseshoes, picnic area, beach & swimming. In the summertime, enjoy a wide variety of water sports. In the winter, enjoy the peace and quiet. n nThe Moose House is a great getaway destination! If it's raining, kick back and enjoy a fire in the gas stove (which resembles an open wood stove) while reading a book, watching a movie from our large collection, or playing one of the many available games. There's a fire pit out back for the feeling of camping out with the convenience and comfort of home. n nLake Cushman is very close to the southern entrance of Olympic National Park where you'll find beautiful hiking trails. There are many other things to do in the area including hiking in the nearby parks or the Olympic Forest, fishing (freshwater & saltwater), golf, tennis, casinos, wineries, restaurants, and gift shopping. Description:Our home is an ideal house for a family with one child or a couple. The Master Bedroom has a king size bed and a bathroom/shower. The guest bedroom is our little boys room, which has a crib and a daybed with a single mattress which is also very comfortable. There is also another bathroom with a shower and bath tub. We live only 10 minutes on foot from the Town of Fairfax in Marin County, our home is private and quiet, located in a family friendly & safe neighborhood. We are within walking distance from movies, grocery stores, local brewery, children's playground, post office, bank etc. We are also only 5 minutes away from Deer Park which is fantastic for hikes, runs or bike riding. We are 25 minutes away form San Francisco and one hour from Napa Valley/wine country. One could have a lovely vacation right in our backyard. With breathtaking views of Mount Tamalpais that you could watch from our hammock. Or take a dip on the outside jacuzzi looking at the stars. Come enjoy the Californian life style.
