Description:A one of a kind home, private, centraly located between Point Reyes and Inverness, the Point Reyes National Seashore, beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking & more. Upstairs is open living/dining/kitchen area with huge beams, large plank floors, beautiful wood ceiling, lots of glass including a large stained glass window. The Kitchen has a stocked pantry and all appliances including a microwave and dishwasher. Dining table accomodates 6. Living area has a comfortable pull out queen size sofa, TV for DVD and stereo and there is wireless internet throughout the house. A deck off of living area has table chairs and gas BBQ. Also in first floor is large sunroom with glass walls and ceiling, Balinese bamboo furnitue, breakfast table with 4 chairs and an side deck. Main bathroomhas a clawfoot tub and shower. Downstairs is large secluded carpeted bedroom with stone walls, huge beamed ceiling, with wood stove and lounging area. There is a small bedroom/office with pull out single bed, desk and small deck attached. Also a small ante room with sink that leads to private outdoor hot tub and outdoor shower area nestled into tree covered rock walls and slate floors. There is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer and linen storage. Home is surrounded by nice gardens that bleed into forrest of bay, oak and fir..There is a stone patio with table, chairs and small firepit. During warmer months there is a small sleeping cabin at creeks edge available. A rustic screened in cedar room with a double bed and reading light. Easy sleeping in the fresh air with the trickling creek a few feet away. There is a 2 car carport. There is a caretaker on the property in a small seperate cabin who is always available for your questions or needs. There are 2 cats on the property who will be as present as you want. They naturaly stay away from strangers but might cozy up if invited. Home is just a shot walk down the street to a deli and bakery and is only 1.5 miles from Point Reyes Station.

Description:This Napa Valley secluded and private 'retreat' is a light and airy hillside country home w/ 2bdrms (2queens) w/2 bths, lg kitchen, livingrm, sunroom, garden patio. Ideal for two couples or a family with kids. There is a fold out sleeper couch in the sunroom with no additional charge, so you can sleep 4-5 (if one person doesn't mind not having a private room). Rent the main house with 2bdrms/ 2 baths option for $325/nt. or rent the entire 3 bdrm/2.5 bath house (for maximum privacy and full run of the house- sleeps 6-8) for $400/nt. The 3rd bedroom is a very spacious studio apt attached to house (from kitchen) with sitting area/TV, breakfast bar, laundry and half bath. The location is only 5 mins. to downtown St. Helena, many wineries, CIA and other fine dining, hiking, biking, art galleries, shopping and 10 minutes to Calistoga spas/mudbaths. Must enjoy watching local wildlife (deer/racoons) eat off of backyard!! Very quiet, private and secluded for couples, families or small groups. Springtime brings out the mustard and warmth and can be a sunny escape from other parts of the country. And for those cooler nights you can snuggle in and warm yourselves by a roaring wood fire! Description:The Point Reyes Tennis House is located on a quiet rural lane in the village of Point Reyes Station, just one hour north of downtown San Francisco. The home is one of two residences on a beautiful acre plus property. It features a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils, appliances and dishes set next to a large dining and living area. The living area with vaulted ceilings, large windows with expansive views includes a flat screen TV/DVD player, a pellet stove, WiFi, free local and long distance phone with comfortable seating to enjoy the views of the garden and the Inverness ridge. Two lovely bedrooms, with double beds are on either side of the bathroom and the washer and dryer. All linens are provided. Downtown Point Reyes Station, home of the popular Bovine Bakery, Station House Café, Point Reyes Books and the Saturday Farmer’s market at Toby’s Feed Barn is short walk from the Tennis House. The downtown features many wonderful shops and restaurants including Susan Hayes Handwovens, Zuma, Café Reyes, Stellina’s the Point Reyes Surf Shop and Flower Power. The Point Reyes National Seashore and bay and ocean beaches are just minutes away. Description:Come and explore this gorgeous part of California: the famous Napa Valley, and vibrant downtown Napa! My home is available only Sept. 29-Oct. 21, 2012. If the calendar says otherwise, it's mistaken! This lovely home is a ten-minute walk from downtown and all that it has to offer: wonderful restaurants, farmer's market, riverfront shopping, live entertainment and parks. It's also convenient to the Oxbow market, the Wine Train, the Napa Valley Opera House, and the Uptown Theater. It's only minutes from highway 29, but secluded and quiet in a complex which includes a community pool. The neighborhood is old-town residential with some of Napa's gorgeous Victorian homes nearby. I've lived here for over 30 years, so will be happy to advise you on places to go and things to do. Napa is generally warm in summer with cool nights, and is surrounded by some of California's most beautiful landscapes. It's truly a great place to be. Calistoga, St. Helena, and all of the valley's treasures--including some of the world's best wineries, spas and restaurants--are just a short drive away along a lovely country highway. Napa is also convenient to the beautiful Sonoma Coast, Pt. Reyes National Seashore , Muir Woods, San Francisco, Berkeley and Oakland. The house is about 1.5-2 hours from SFO and 1-1.5 hour from OAK and Sacramento, depending on traffic. The house has newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, a tiled atrium garden with fountain, front patio, wireless internet, fireplace, laundry and a garage. The kitchen is fully stocked with condiments, spices, dishes, pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. It comfortably houses four with two bedrooms and two baths. The couch can also serve as a single bed. I don't have cable, but I do have ROKU for streaming hundreds of videos and past TV shows, and I have an extensive library of dvd's that you are welcome to view. This is a non-smoking household smoking is not permitted anywhere within the home. There are stairs between the living area and the bedrooms, and between the garage and the home itself. Please be aware that this house is NOT child-proofed. Infants and toddlers will need to be carefully monitored.

Description:A-frame house surrounded by open space-100 feet to miles and miles of trails in protected land. Two bed, two bath house on dead-end street. French doors open onto deck with fire pit and propane heater. 30 to 45 min. drive to San Francisco. Great road and mountain biking right out the door. Our professionally decorated home has a renovated kitchen with commercial grade appliances, including a six burner Dacor gas cooktop. The decor can be described as Pottery Barn meets West Elm, with a few colorful Oriental rugs as accents. We recently added eleven skylights, so there's lots of natural light. We also recently added a 600 square foot patio with a fire pit under the oak trees, just outside French doors from the living room. Most of the living space is in the great room area, and the bedrooms are pleasant but somewhat small. Overall, the place is very clean and uncluttered. The downstairs bathroom was recently renovated and features a deep soaking tub. The upstairs bathroom has a shower. There are bunkbeds in the children's room downstairs, and toys and bikes for guests. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a new, California King size bed. In the great room, there is an air conditioner which is hardly ever necessary, but available in case you wish to use it. We have a good movie collection, and two large flat screen televisions, with a movie sound system in the family room, along with a long L-shaped couch. We also have On-Demand and Netflix subscriptions. We enjoy entertaining here, as the great room and patio all flow together, making a cheerful and attractive party space where everyone can be near each other, but with enough space to relax. It is a great place to be, but not too delicate that you have to worry much if you bring your children or small dog. Downtown Fairfax is a mile and a half away - with many restaurants and shops, and live music every night of the week in multiple venues.

Besides great wine, Sonoma Valley produces olive oil, cheese, honey and gourmet chocolates. There are several excellent brew pubs. Even our local corner store offers wine tasting. There are 2 farmers markets in Sonoma with local produce on Friday mornings and Tuesday evenings-the Tuesday market also has music and prepared food. We have a fully stocked kitchen for your use. Inside dining room table seats 8. There is a barbeque and outside table on the first story deck. House amenities- -Master suite has fireplace, hot tub on outside second story deck(great view) and tiled bathroom with overesized bathtub, Cal King bed with memory foam mattress. -Sunken living room with cathedral ceilings. -Kitchen is fully stocked with linen, china, glasses, spices and condiments.
