Description:Welcome to Spikes Place ! nThis wonderful haven is just across the street from the Tahoe Donner Golf Course and the Recreation Center which has a snow play area, swimming pools, hot tubs, workout center and more. nThis is a three level home in which you enter on the bottom level. On this level is the master bedroom which has a Queen bed along with a TV, DVD player, and a CD player. Attached is a full bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Bedroom #2 is also on the lower lever and has one Queen bed along with one Twin bed. There is a full bathroom across the hall with a shower. The washer/dryer are on this level as well as the garage, however there is NO GARAGE ACCESS. All parking will be in the driveway. nThe main level has an open floor plan with a living room, dining area and kitchen along with a wet bar. nThere are vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace as well as a front and back deck for morning coffee or BBQ's. There is a propane grill on the front deck available year-round. nThis floor also has bedroom #3 with a Double bed and a bathroom complete with shower in the hall. nThe upper level is the loft which has a separate office area. This area gets lots of light and is a great place to curl up with a book in a comfy chair. Look down. nIf you see a pretty red and yellow stone, then you 're re-living the experience of someone in 1860 who, after discovering Chalcedy (a semi-precious stone) named this place Carnelian Bay. And don 't be surprised if you see a sleek, wooden-hulled motorboat plying the waters. It could very well be a Gar Wood, named for the British inventor and racer, Garfield Wood. You are, after all, in Carnelian Bay: the place to be in the 1920s and '30s if you had a fast boat and wanted to show what it could do. But you don 't have to own a speedboat to enjoy this 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo right by beautiful Carnelian Bay. nIf a mountain man had retired to live by the shore, he could very well call this home.
