Description:The apartment is a fully furnished studio located at first floor in a quiet side street in a particularly lively and bohemian part of Helsinki, Kallio around 1 km east of the city center. Kallio is a traditionally working-class area that has seen an influx of trendy youngsters, artists and young families moving into the area. The district has many bars, restaurants and the only wood-fired public sauna in Helsinki. The park around the Töölö Bay, the Swimming Stadium with heated water pools and the Linnanmaki amusement park, the oldest and the most popular amusement park, all are within a 10-15-minutes walk from the flat. Some of the amenities include: Fully Furnished High Speed Internet Towels and Bed Linens Flat screen TV Coffeemaker Stove, no oven No dishwasher or microwave Street parking (meters 1 EUR per hour, and weekends no charge) For long-term guests also access to laundry room (washer-dryer works with coins) and a possibility to use a sauna in a building. Train-station and city center are 30 minutes walking but you can take tram 3B 1 block from the apartment and be there in 10-15 minutes. Tram 8 stop to Arabia and Töölö next to the apartment. Airport, Finnair, buss, stops ca. 50 m from the apartment (charge of 7 EUR per person).

Description:Location/Area: Although apartment located closer to bohemian east downtown (10 min walking max.), where you can find all the hip bars, shops and other places of interest. Also it is also quite easy to reach the city centre: the tram stop is just next to ten building and it takes on average 15 minutes by tram to reach the city centre/Central Railway Station. The name of the district is Alppila referring to the Alp mountains and it is located on a the top of the hill. So if you want to enjoy the view to the whole city, you can go amusement park which is not far from the house, and enjoy the ride on a Ferrys Wheel or Panoraama (this one is free of charge, by the way). The Alppipuisto (Alps Park) is just a 5-7 minutes walkling distance from the house, in a little valley. During the summer its a nice place for the picnic and hanging out at the little independent music festivals, which are the inevitable part of this area. Also while staying in the neighborhood you can enjoy historical wooden houses, really cool flea market Valtteri, some nice and less pricey then in the city centre traditional restaurants. Apartment: It's nice and cosy studio-apartment around 30 m2. It will suit perfectly for two people. But it can also accomodate three, since there are a double bad at the loft one sofa. I guess we should note that the bathroom is combined with shower and it is really compact (1-1.5 sq.m, please check the pciture), but clean and usable. Another thing to note - the loft is just above the kitchenette (again, please check the pictures). However, overall the studio is just lovely. We are sure you'll enjoy your stay here! Description:46 sq meters cozy apartment in 1911 building in the old and historical Kruununhaka neighborhood right in the city centre and close to all the main attractions. The apt has high ceilings and a unique atmosphere of an old building. The Helsinki Central Railway station, tram/bus stops, ferry terminals for ferries going to Stockholm, Tallinn and Suomenlinna fortress are within walking distance from the apt. Trams 1A/B and 7A/B run nearby, tram stop is about 100 meters from the apartment. The Kaisaniemi metro station and the main building of Helsinki University are within 400 meters from the apartment. Also within walking distance is some of the most interesting historical buildings and a market square that the city has to offer. The apartment is located in the Kruununhaka district, and it is a great base while exploring Helsinki by foot. Kruununhaka is one of the oldest districts in Helsinki, so it is full of beautiful old buildings and atmosphere with modern twist. Kruununhaka has a number of lively small shops, coffee shops and restaurants as well as an excellent organic/health food store. There are several interesting dining options close to the apt like traditional Russian restaurant, modern Finnish cuisine (Kuurna), a Michelin-star restaurant (Luomo) and German as well as Thai restaurant. Besides organic food store there are 2 normal crocery stores nearby as well as a bakery and city's only Korean restaurant. There is even one Itaian restaurant in the same building complex as the apt. The apartment is fully furnished and located at street level in quiet residential area. The apartment has a large bedroom with a double futon (200x140cm) and a futon sofa that can accommodate 2 more people. In additionally, the bedroom has a big bookshelf and 2 chairs. There is possibility to sleep in a light bed in kitchen as well. Please tell beforehand if you need it so we can provide it. The kitchen has a big dining table with 4 chairs, a commode and a long soft seat by the window. Clean sheets and towels are always provided for 2 guests. You see the ferry as well as Suomenlinna (Sveaborg) from your windows. Ships for Stockholm and Tallin leaves at 400 meters from the B&B. (Viking Line) To International Airport 22 kms, about 30 minutes by car. Airport Shuttle (bus) from the Airport to Central Station 30 minutes.
