It is perfect for a family friendly getaway in the wine country, a family reunion or large gathering. n nThe Dome is a wonderful getaway for several families or a group of friends. It is a four bedroom 2-story home with two bedrooms, one bath, a living room, dining room, and kitchen on the ground floor, and two bedrooms, one bath, play room and TV area on the upper floor. It comfortably sleeps 10 people. The Philo Dome shares the 20-acre property with a small cottage (periodically occupied by the owners), but the dome maintains a feeling of privacy and has amazing views. n nAlso included are a radio/CD player, TV (does not show any channels), VCR and DVD players, wireless internet access, video and board game collection, hammocks, book library, gas grill, play structure, sand box, outdoor games and hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked and includes all the basics plus a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher and ice cream maker. The Dome is fully supplied with linens, paper products, and food staples. n nThree acres of meadow surround the dome with a creek running through the property. There is also a fenced-in orchard where you can sample the fruit if there is an abundance of that particular item. Description:This house was built in 1927 by my Great Grandparents. They began the vineyards that we still farm today. The barn is a walk through the history of some of the first settlers here in Calpella, Mendocino County. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. You can enjoy the fishing pond, the shade of the walnut trees and the beautiful views. The house is newly renovated, using authentic furnishings. The tile shower is a great compliment to to authentic claw foot bath tub. We are very close to Lake Mendocino and the Redwoods. We love to have people stay on our ranch and tell them of our history here!

Precious Forest is a wonderful site to have a wedding. It's a long road up the mountain but worth the drive. This is where beauty and adventure meet to create the space for your guests to gather. If you enjoy camping, cabins, cozy wood burning stoves, kind and attentive pets and an escape from city madness, then this is the place for you! My wife and I had a wonderful wedding and vacation in Precious Forest. The cabin is romantic and cozy, the grounds spacious and exactly what we were looking for. We were even able to have my rock band play outside at our reception. Really fun! Ken and Katie are hard working, kind and gracious hosts who made my wife and I and our newly combined families feel very comfortable and welcome. They also provided our catering with an amazing feast which was enjoyed by all. We really appreciate the time we spent there and have many fond memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

Description:Are you looking for a perfect place for a honeymoon or perhaps just a weekend getaway? This charming cabin in the Redwoods is perfect for a private or romantic retreat. The rustic cabin has a country elegance, indoor shower and full bathroom. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to make a lovely meal all you need is the food. Basics such as tea, coffee and condiments are supplied including a few specialty food items. There is a DVD/TV, CD player, DSL in another building, lots of books, movies and games, private deck, BBQ, bad mitten court, and a pond complete with a canoe. There is a big vegetable/flower garden filled with vegetables that you can pick. The land is perfectly balanced with open meadows and fir and Redwood trees. A large Valley Oak resides just off the back deck. The cabin is 20 minutes to pristine beaches and fine dining, 25 minute to wine tasting in Anderson Valley and 25 minutes to Orr Hot Spring. SPRING SPECIAL: GET ONE FREE DAY PASS TO ORR HOT SPRINGS WHEN BOOKING THREE NIGHTS OR MORE. The rate is $75 per night with a 2 night minimum or $500 for one week. There is a $50 cleaning fee which will be waived when booking three nights or more.. The sleeping loft is accessed by a pull down ladder and the bed has a memory foam topper that our guests comment is very relaxing and comfortable. All linens are supplied including robes, Egyptian cotton sheets and beautiful towels. En Suite massage is available by appointment. A small grocery store, gas pump and post office are 1/2 mile east.
