Description:Located in the Glen Lyon neighborhood, also known as the Cascade area due to the proximity of the Cascade Hotel being a short walk away from the house. Next to the hotel is the lift that services the area. The more adventurous among you may find a way to ski back to the house! The Alegria spa and fitness center is opposite the hotel offering a variety of entertainment. The Attwater restaurant in the Hotel is well renowned for a great dinner. The house itself was built in 1980 and is in great condition only having been used as a 2nd home and never fully lived in. It has a wonderful chalet style feel to it with lots of room for large groups to spread out. Although the weather was not as cooperative as we had hoped, we still had a great time, and enjoyed the house even more than last year. We spend the days kayaking, crabbing, sitting on the dock, etc. At night, we walk to one of the many wonderful Inlet restaurants. There 's no better place to unwind and enjoy family. The 100 year old house is wonderful, and the family has done a great job preserving the history and heritage of the place. Litchfield re service was excellent. - R.
