Situated on three national borders, the Mont-Blanc Massif is protected jointly by France, Switzerland and Italy. Plans are currently underway to have Mont-Blanc listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Chamonix is a town where charm and tradition share the scene with modern resort facilities. The architectural heritage has been preserved, giving a unique atmosphere to the resort. Traditional village hamlets are located up and down the 23 km Chamonix valley. Chamonix is truly an all year round resort, where you’ll find many of the 100 shops open ‘out of season’. The apartment is located in the village of Kaprun village, and the nearest ski bus stop and supermarket shop is only a brief 1-2 minute walk away. The apartment terrace has a superb view of the 3204 metre high Kitzsteinhorn glacier mountain, where skiing and snowboarding can take place nearly all year round. The apartment is modern, 110m2 all on one level. The walk into the center of Kaprun village is also on the level. The apartment has the benefit of a well equipped luxury kitchen with granite worktops and a dining area which comfortably seats all our guests in comfort. Adjacent to the kitchen / dining area is the lounge with a comfortable leather sofa to relax after your meal. The holiday apartment has the benefit of television, DVD, internet access , radio. The emphasis on furnishing the apartment is on quality and the comfort of all our guests. With the apartment comes an underground car parking space, with the added benefit of a second above ground car parking place being available. The apartment also benefits from having a ski room to store your ski equipment, golf clubs or cycles. Outside the premises there is a terrace leading into the garden area. From the terrace there are stunning views of the mountains, and the Kitzsteinhorn at 3203 metres, with its glacier and mountain restaurants can clearly be seen. The Ski bus stop is a brief 1-2 minutes away and a short ride takes you to any of the three ski areas which makes up the joint Europa Ski area of Kaprun and Zell am See which provides plenty of scope for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The ski area has the benefit of 57 ski lifts, with easy access to the glacier there is guaranteed skiing with the exception of the 3 week maintenance period in summer, there are also a number of excellent ski schools for those who want to learn or improve their skiing.

It’s a lovely place to visit at any time of the year, but especially in winter as the hot water is just lovely when it’s colder outside.McLaren Falls Park : This beautiful park borders Lake McLaren, formed behind a dam built for hydro-electricity generation. The landscape includes parkland and native bush. McLaren Falls has a fine botanical collection of trees and a wide range of birdlife, including the North Island brown Kiwi, North Island robin and long-tailed cuckoo. Trout fishing is permitted all year around in the lake and nearby Ruahihi but you will need a license.Surfers really love this beach as there are many great spots to choose from. Over the summer periods, strong tropical swells often make surfing conditions ideal and with a quick boat trip across the harbour entrance, surfers can indulge in world quality waves off Matakana Island. Mount Maunganui will also soon be the home of New Zealand’s first artificial surfing reef, as in the last few years, a lot of time and effort has been put towards the Mount Reef Project. When this surfing reef is completed, it will make surfing at the Mount even more popular.

You can also enjoy yourself by playing tennis and swimming in the neighbourhood. In five minutes by car you will also reach the ski area of San Vito di Cadore and in fifteen minutes the wonderful ski area of Cortina. In the summertime from Borca you can also ride your bike through the long cycle-route of Dolomites that leads you to Calalzo di Cadore or to Toblach . You can drive to Venice or Treviso in one and a half hour.

Pamporovo is an excellent place to learn to ski, the piste includes excellent long green runs for beginners as well as good blue and red runs. Black runs - including.
