It is about 50km from Diagoras International Airport and 50km from Rhodes town centralport. It is connected to both with the Rhodes to Lindos motorway. Lindos, with its medieval alleys, its ancient monuments and historic houses is considered by many as the most beautiful village of Rhodes. Its imposing castle, dramatically build on top of a steep cliff overlooking the village is Lindos more prominent landmark. Inside the walls, the ancient temple of Athena and other important monuments speak of an age of prosperity, when Lindos was one of the leading shipping ports of the ancient world.
