Description:Ski in, ski out to the door. The south-facing views of the Monashee mountains are spectacular. n nOur ski condo has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It is quite large, about 1600 sf. with high ceilings and is on three levels on two stories (about eight steps between levels). n nThe first level has the large entry with plenty of room for all the snow equipment and outside clothing. There is a bedroom with a bunk bed, double on the bottom and single on the top. This is a favorite with the kids. There is a laundry room with a washer/dryer and an extra fridge. n nThe second level has a fully equipped kitchen, the dining area and the living area. The living area has a wood burning fireplace (firewood supplied) and a new 50 plasma TV with cable and satellite. There is a DVD player, a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit. There are lots of games and books for adults and kids. There is a desk with a Macintosh computer connected to broadband (high speed) internet. The ceilings in this area are 16 ' high. There is a large deck with a beautiful southern view of the Monashee Mountains. n nThe third level has the master bedroom with a king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. There is another full bathroom and a sauna. n nThe condo is very unique and has a lot of wood features throughout with large log posts, heavy wood beams, wood ceilings and cedar walls. This, along with the wood-burning fireplace, high ceilings and the mountain setting gives you a real ski lodge experience. Large, south-facing windows make the condo very bright. n nAll linen is provided. n nWe have lived in our condo for two full and three partial ski seasons so it is well set up for extended stays. We haven 't done many rentals, but we have done some wonderful home exchanges. It is true ski in/ski out meaning you walk about 60 feet to the end of the hall, out the door, up a few steps and you are ready to put on your skis. At the other end of the hall there is a hot tub area and a games room with air hockey, ping pong and shuffleboard. There is underground parking although you don 't really need a vehicle when you are here as everything is within walking distance. It is just a short walk (less than five minutes) to the main village with restaurants, shopping, ski services, activities, entertainment, etc. There is also a free shuttle bus and a free gondola to get to other areas of the resort such as the skating rink, sleigh rides, skidoo rentals, snowshoeing and the tubing park.
