The building style is unique and you will not find any comparable holiday homes in the whole of the Messara plain. The indoor living area is 120m2 and the whole property comprises 350m2 on the edge of Pitsidia, in idyllic surroundings, but still within easy reach of the village. The green entrance area, full of roses, decorative shrubs and vines, invites you to enjoy yourself and relax from the first moment you arrive. On the upper level of the house you find the open-plan kitchen and living area with Cretan bench, dining table, open fireplace and Italian designer kitchen completely equipped with: dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, electric mixer, iron and much more. The gas oven and hob are made by SMEG, the fridge has a large freezing compartment. From the sleeping area you can reach the partly-roofed terrace, offering breathtaking views across the Messara plain. From your comfortable bed you also have great views of the Ida mountain chain. The bathroom is particularly beautiful with a Minoan bath tub and can also be reached from the sleeping area. Stairs lead down from the kitchen and living area into the lower level of the house where a further bedroom with en-suite toilet and wash basin can be found. The bedroom boasts one bunk bed (child safety equipment available) and a double bed with one double-sized mattress. The former wine cellar has been converted into a further bedroom with one double bed and a bed for infants. The ancient vine-cellar was rebuilt in an other bedroom with double-beds and a bed for children. The patatirio became a new bathroom with toilet, washing-machine and shower. By the extension of the roof terrace there is an additional beautiful small place. Description:This is one of the original summer cabins with a wonderful mountain cabin look and feel that has been updated with modern amenities to make your stay convenient and comfortable. There are a total of 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Included in the rental is the main cabin with two bedrooms and 1-1/2 baths with shower only and the bunkhouse with one bedroom and one full bath with tub and shower. There are two sleeper sofas in the living room that can sleep up to 4 adults. We include free housekeeping with your rental. The cabin will be clean and the beds will be made with clean sheets and pillow cases when you arrive. At the end of your stay just leave the beds unmade and the dirty towels on the floor. Our housekeeper will clean the cabin for you. It's a better way to end your vacation rather than spending the last hours cleaning. Access to the private Twain Harte Lake is also included. Contact us to see a video of our property. Rates Standard Rates $180 per night Refundable security deposit of $200 Rental includes admission to the members only lake in Twain Harte. Lake tickets are $5 per day per person and are purchased at the lake. All rates include a cleaning fee and taxes. The cleaning fee covers standard cleaning. Additional fees may apply for pet cleanup or overly dirty conditions. Cancellation Fees: A $200 deposit is required to hold a reservation.
