The living room of this Reno vacation home rental is furnished with fine leather furniture, a cozy fireplace and TV VCR, DVD player and broadband Internet access. There is a well stocked kitchen as well to facilitate your gastronomic needs. There's a shaded, fenced backyard with a garden deck, gas barbeque grill and lawn furniture for you and your family or friends to hang out or enjoy cookout parties as well. There is a two-car parking garage with parking for two or more cars in the driveway. One, known as Kots House, is a 2-story, 4-bedroom, 2-bath home built in the late 1800's and recently fully remodeled. It will sleep 9 people. The other, known as Kots Studio, is smaller, also 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath, and will sleep 4 people. Each has its own private yard.The larger Kots House (4 bedrooms) features 1 California King bed upstairs, 1 regular King bed downstairs, 1 Queen bed upstairs, 1 Double bunk bed downstairs (the bottom bunk bed is a double bed with a single bed on top).It has a large, pleasant family kitchen, fully equipped with many extras. The Gathering Table seats 8 and there is counter seating for 2 adults or 3 children. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee pot, teapot and many other useful items not usually provided in rentals. There is also a washer and dryer in the house.There is cable TV in the kitchen as well as the living room, and plenty of movies on DVD to watch.There is also a movable electric fireplace made by the Amish from oak trees.There is a mural of the Schweitzer Basin in the living room of Kots House that was painted by Russell Kotschevar, a well known local businessman who owned and built a local pub downtown. He also carved 'Pend O'Reille Pete', a larger-than-life-size statue which is displayed at US Bank just a couple of blocks from the property. 'Pete' is pretty famous and travels to various exhibits all over the country.The property has a small, grassy front yard and there are large, beautiful trees lining the street. The back yard is small and completely fenced with an outdoor firepit, a BBQ grill, table & chairs, and a covered, cushioned 3 seat swing.Smoking is permitted on the covered outdoor patio and the yard , but smoking inside the rental houses is not allowed and will result in the loss of deposit.Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional deposits or rental fees may apply.There is room for 2-3 cars to be parked in the driveway next to the house.Kots Studio is a 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath house with one King bed and one Queen bed upstairs, to sleep 4. It is a beautiful paradise on the white sands of the Gulf Coast(approximately 400 yards) that is only a short walk, or, our own personal tram is available. The complex has beautiful landscaping with many amenities: The pool complex is enormous with a 12,000 square-foot, lagoon-style setting and we are only 1 block away. This is a first-class accommodation with beautiful panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico from the balconies of My Blue Heaven. Our home is very new and was completed in July 2004. We can assure you that this home will have every amenity, decorated and outfitted in first class style. The home is large with over 2800 square feet and has three master bedroom suites- one on each floor for multi-family vacations. There are five bedrooms designed for adults and children. The children have their own TV equipped with Playstation II and VCRs for their entertainment on the second floor. As you enter through the large front porch into the spacious living area, it is complete with built-in entertainment systems, surround sound, dining room with bay windows, gourmet kitchen and a wrap-around bar. The first floor has 10' ceilings with a master bedroom that leads to a private screened porch. The second floor has two bedrooms with a back deck and has a fully equipped entertainment room for children. The 2nd floor master bedroom faces the beach and has a large deck overlooking the Gulf. The third floor(tower room) boasts a master bedroom, bath, living area, wet bar, and observation deck with panoramic views of the Gulf.
