Within a 10 minute drive north, you have access to multiple natural attractions such as Trinidad Head Trail, Patrick 's Point State Park, Agate Beach, Redwood National Park including Lady Bird Johnson Grove, PrairieCreek State Park, Fern Canyon and herds of Roosevelt elk.
