We have equipped the house for our own family to enjoy and all the basics that you need in a holiday home are there - salt, pepper, coffee, tea oil, kitchen towels, bread in the freezer etc . We only ask that guests replace them when they are running out . There is one family bathroom and a WC downstairs. Further details outdoors: A grassed garden area with the 6 trees runs from front to back: the back is a suntrap on good days, and garden furniture is kept in the garage. Tormore distillery was built in 1958 and was the first new distillery to be built in Scotland in the 20th century. The houses, known as distillery cottages, were built for the workers. Richardson Road is named after the architect , Sir Arthur Richardson. The distillery itself is distinctive, with its white frontage, musical clock ( you can't hear it inside the houses!), fountain, and bushes and trees trimmed to the shapes of barrels and stills..
