Our two spacious secluded wooden holiday houses are situated only 7 minutes walking distance from one of Israel's most beautiful natural sand beaches. The two wooden holiday homes are designed by the owner herself, furnished with great care as beach houses and decorated with her handmade functional pottery. The Fain family's B B is a perfect rural accommodation surrounded by nature in the Coastal Plain of Central Israel, next to the sea shore between Tel-Aviv and Haifa. Sea Wind, the Fain family's holiday house rental, is a small family business with two holiday accommodations Wind and Sea and the Kadaria , Jeannette's pottery studio and workshop. of Caesarea. Our family beach houses can sleep up to 6 guests each. Both cabins are comfortable for families with 2-4 children, for two couples or for romantic holiday's just for two. The Fain Family's holiday homes, in Israel called Zimmer's, are naturally connected with the environment, ecological, and fully furnished and equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy a relaxing home in Israel. Both holiday guest houses have got their own private gardens with a big lawn, a little herb garden, a hammock for two and a barbeque area with an open fire place. Jeannette's designs of the chalets are a charming fusion of her Swiss roots and her love for Mediterranean life stile. Inside the air-conditioned living space you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge with organic products for your first breakfast and everything you need for cooking, from the local olive oil and spices to the table cloth and the handmade pottery dishes and whatever you'll need for your self catering holiday's. The Sea Wind houses have got a living room with TV, DVD, movies, music, books and toys, an open bedroom upstairs, a bathroom and a double bedroom downstairs, a dining area indoors as well as outdoors on the veranda, in the shade. Jeannette's handmade pottery, the paintings, the fabrics, the fresh flowers from the garden, the candles and the home made brownies are there to welcome you and to let you feel at home. The little gait at the end of the Fain property's garden leads you on a sandy path in 7 minutes down to the beach, to the beginning of the beautiful and lonely nature reserve, hardly known even by the Israelis Gador. A second shortcut through the village brings you in 7 minutes by foot as well, straight down to Michmoret's official beach, with a swimming area, during summer season with a life guard, showers and a restaurant. For our guests the entrance to the beach is free. Wind cabin – our first wooden house The Wind cabin is a spacious wooden holiday house open to nature and the northern horizon. The wind from the sea carries the sound of the waves, which are a seven minute walk away. On the large veranda there is a table for six, overlooking the private garden, the lawn, the spice garden, the hammock in the shade of the trees and the place for a barbeque and the open fire at the end of the lawn by the rosemary. A second garden table serves the children to play with clay. Inside the air-conditioned wood house you will find a fully equipped family size kitchen, a dining area, a living room with sofa, TV/DVD, movies and music, a bathroom with a toilet and a shower, a gallery upstairs overlooking the living room The gallery bedroom in this house is situated above the kitchen and the bathroom has got two comfortable single beds (or one large double bed) an additional single bed , and enough space for one more mattress, toys, games and books. The couple's bed room downstairs is situated on the other side of the house to give you complete privacy, with it's own little closed veranda with a jakuzzi and a wood stove. The guests sleeping in the upstairs bedroom will have a beautiful view to the sea from the roof window, and the romantic bed room downstairs has got a secret door leading outside to the new Jacuzzi area on the veranda, surrounded by windows with blue sky and green nature, next to a Swiss wooden stove to enjoy rainy winter days. The Wind cabin is very comfortable for self catering for up to 6 people, for family holidays, small groups of friends getting together or joining a workshop but very suitable as well just for a romantic couple. The 2 very private wooden houses are still close enough one from the other for a 2 family renting , in the center of Israel surrounded by nature and near the seashore with it's beautiful sand beaches .Sea cabin – our second wooden house: In the Blue house, designed as well as a beach house, the Mediterranean colors overcame Jeannette's Swiss roots – she made the tiles for the kitchen, colorful lines in the bathroom and even the sink herself. The Swiss long table on the wooden veranda she painted blue – and if you stand still – she might paint you too…blue… Sea, a little bit smaller then Wind, can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people : one couple downstairs and up to 4 guests upstairs, 2 on single beds ( or on a double bed) and 2 on mattresses. The sofa in the living room , turns into a comfortable single bed as well. From the veranda you walk into the air-conditioned living space with a living room with TV/DVD, a dining area and fully equipped integrated little kitchen with a large fridge and everything you'll need to cook your own meals, with a choice of dining indoors or outside in the shade of the pergola . Underneath the open bedroom there is the air conditioned double bedroom with a niche for a baby, and the bathroom with a beautiful large bay window, a big bath with shower and the toilet. Coming back home from the nearby beach you have an outdoor extra shower with hot and cold water, so you can leave the salt and sand off the veranda. Leading down from the veranda with it's large dining table ( the blue Swiss one…) you reach your private lawn, with a hammock for two, a little spice garden, a barbeque corner and lots of open sand in which to make your own fire. The big dining area window opens out to the veranda, to the lawn and to the view of the coastal sand dunes to the horizon, giving you a mixture of nature and privacy with the feeling of peace and quiet. To walk in 7 minutes to the beach you walk to the end of the Fain family's property, to the Wind house, to the little gate, turn left and walk through the sand down to the sea side with it's beautiful nature between the red cliffs and the natural ponds of the sea. Location and area and Haifa, 30 minutes driving distance to both towns, 10 minutes north from Netanya and 15 minutes south of Caesarea. Michmoret is situated in the middle of Israel's Coastal Plane – just between Tel-Aviv Sea Wind- the Fain family's two wooden holiday houses, are situated in the center of Israel, by the sea side, on the north edge of Moshav-Michmoret (spelled in some maps Mikhmoret). You find yourself accommodated in the rural area of Emek Chefer, within a short traveling distance from historique sites, such as the old harbor of Caesarea, old Jaffo, and thejuish and druses villages on the Carmel mountain.The lake of galelea you reach in about one hour. Jeannette , born in Switzerland, speaks German, English, Hebrew and a little French which can make your stay in Israel easier. Travel, relax on the beach, look for shells, take some pottery classes, go horse riding along the beach, enjoy a massage on your veranda, read a good book in the hammock and plan in peace and quiet your next trip. Michmoret is a Moshav and originally a fisher village with a little harbor, a long beach for a swim, a long walk or for jogging. In the village itself there is a little super market, two play grounds, a tennis court and a synagogue. The nature reserve that starts 7 walking minutes west of Sea Wind is called Gadorand the area north of the Fain family's property is called Park Ha Sharon, the flowering dunes you view from the houses all the way to the horizon. A little private gate leads from your house into Park ha Sharon. Turn left for a short walk to the beach. On the sea shore turn right and walk further north into Gador nature reserve. A unique beach reserve intended to protect the special life forms existing only between the rise and fall of the sea, in between and on the half submerged rocks, and in the beautiful natural pools between the reef and the beach. You are invited to take your shoes off, and walk barefoot on the sand and in the water. Our winter is mostly mild and there are many clear warm days. If you reach the beach and turn left, you will see Shula and Kushi's little restaurant to relax and enjoy a stunning sunset. Between Michmoret and the neighbor village Bet Yannay you will meet just the end of the Alexander Stream and the beginning of a long bicycle way leading to Kibbuz Maabarot. On the way you might see the special water turtles living in the stream. You can reach us from the airport Ben Gurion very easily on nr.2 highway leading to Haifa. You leave it about 5 minutes, after you pass Netanya North, at Yannay Interchange. At the roundabout you turn left and cross the bridge towards the sea, and you will see the sign to Michmoret to the right. You drive until you reach the roundabout in front of the village, you turn right and pass two more roundabouts and turn left at the second street. We live in the 5th house on the right, next to it the studio and behind it you pass first Sea and reach finally Wind.
