Description:This villa offers a classic Tuscan setting with views, as well as easy accessibility to Florence by train from the nearby town of Pistoia. When not out exploring, this Tuscany accommodation has a picturesque swimming pool and is located on an estate that produces its own olive oil and wine. n n(2 hectares) This villa, with its traditional Tuscan architecture, is accessible via an unpaved country road (about 300 meters long). The private terrace, surrounded by a wrought iron fence, is partially shaded by a large lime tree and a grove of high laurels. It overlooks the medieval architecture of Pistoia, the beautiful countryside, the swimming pool, and the garden below. The terrace has an outdoor dining area, a built-in grill, and a table with chairs for ten people. The swimming pool area has a smaller table, deckchairs, and an umbrella. A grass parking area (30m x 15m) is also available at the property. The owner and his wife and son live in a country house adjacent to the villa, they are always available to offer advice and any needed assistance. n n(250 m2) Three floors. This recently restored, late 18th century Tuscany villa offers peace and quiet in fine surroundings. The spacious interiors boast antique wooden beams in the ceilings, original polished parquet floors, terracotta-tiled floors, French arched windows, and vaulted ceilings. It also features original antique furnishings, drawings, paintings, and numerous family heirlooms. nGround floor: This floor has a spacious kitchen with a breakfast table for four, an old working fireplace, and brand new household appliances (including a washing machine and a dishwasher). Next to the kitchen there is a large cellar/​utility room with washing and ironing facilities. The study has a desk, a sofa, and access to the terrace. The large dining/​living room (45 m2) has armchairs and a sofa, an old stone fireplace, a dining table for eight people, and access to the terrace. Fifteen steps lead to the first floor. nFirst floor: This floor has three bedrooms. The first (green) and second (yellow) bedrooms each have two 80 cm narrow single beds and the third bedroom (pink) has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, writing desk, and views of the terrace and Pistoia. There is one large bathroom with a WC, sink, and shower with wall-mounted showerhead as well as a handheld showerhead. There is also a guest bathroom with sink and WC. Twelve steps lead to the second floor. nSecond floor: This floor has two bedrooms with unique wall paintings and two bathrooms. Both of the bedrooms have timber-beamed ceilings, worn terracotta floors, wrought iron bed frames, and a lovely view of Florence in the distance. Description:This very welcoming four bedroom air-conditioned house is situated in the hilltop village of Goult, which is situated in the Luberon hills. Goult is equidistant between the picturesque villages of Gordes and Bonnieux. It is a wonderful area for walks and cycling, as well as driving tours to explore the many attractions of this diverse area. Situated on a hillside, the villa is surrounded by woodlands and has wonderful views over the valley. The exterior of the house is quite charming, a lovely terraced garden, planted with lavender and shrubs makes for a serene and private environment in which to revel and relax. On the same level as the house is the private 11 meter by 6 meter swimming pool with its surrounding terrace, furnished with exquisite wrought-iron sun loungers. A pretty covered terrace just outside the house is perfect for dining outdoors. All of the rooms at Un Charme A Goult have been decorated and furnished exquisitely in true Provencal style. Soft muted colours, traditional beamed ceilings and stone tiled floors form a backdrop for the country antique furniture, beautiful antique lights and mirrors and pretty curtains and bed linen. Everything is immaculate, yet very tasteful and welcoming. Amenities include satellite television, video, telephone/​fax and central heating. Due to the high standard of the interiors and the terraced nature of the garden (flower beds rather than lawns), this property is not recommended for very young children. nOn the ground floor of this property one will find the well equipped kitchen and the dining room opening to the front terrace. Utility Room: There is a washing machine on the annexe to the roof terrace with an iron and ironing board for guests use. Drying lines are provided on the roof terrace. Living Rooms: The lounge has a wood-burning fire place, ample seating and 50 plasma satellite TV (Full English SKY), HD DVD player and CD stereo system with iPod dock. Other: The villa has a purified and softened water system from its own well which provides biologically safe and clean, fresh water at all times. Cleaning/​towels/​ linen/​maid service: Maid service is provided 2 times per week with weekly bed linen and bi-weekly towel change. Notes on accommodation The whole villa is air-conditioned/​heated. For your security the villa has all round fencing with electronic gates and its own monitored alarm system. This makes the property extremely safe and secure for both children and yourselves. A Welcome Pack with essentials for your arrival is provided with our compliments. The villa boasts a hi-tech Gymnasium with 'Life-Fitness' equipment, 32 LCD satellite TV (English SKY) and stereo sound system with iPod dock, a Games Room equipped with full-sized American Pool table, table tennis, table football, dart board, Playstation 2 and 3 and Nintendo Wii on two 37 HD LCD TVs and a state-of-the-art Cinema Room with Sony DVD and 5.1 surround sound system. Broadband internet access is available by prior arrangement for a supplement. There are 32 LCD satellite TVs (English SKY) with DVDs in both the master bedroom and bathroom and Bedroom 4. Outside The villa boasts a large 13m x 7m private pool (0.7m shallow end, 2.2m deep end) and is set in one acre of landscaped gardens with large lawns. On the pool terrace the newly installed 10 seater theatre spa is available at a supplement. Bespoke sun loungers, parasols, and 'rattan' leisure furniture are all provided whether for relaxing or outdoor dining. The large traditional barbecue will only enhance your holiday experience. The roof terrace with its panoramic sea-view provides an ideal sun-trap and is just the place to enjoy a late evening cocktail and savour the quiet ambiance of the Algarve. Booking notes A cleared 20% deposit of the total rental price will secure your booking. Subject to a booking confirmation you will be required to pay the balance no later than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to your departure date. Notes on prices Prices are per week in UK Pounds (sterling). Note: Christmas and New Year are subject to High Summer (July and August) season rates. Changeover day Saturday changeovers are requested May to mid September with 7 night rentals or multiples thereof. During the off peak season changeovers are flexible depending on availability and we also offer short breaks with a minimum stay of 3 nights except during Easter and half-term weeks. We request that outgoing guests depart by 10.30am and the incoming party arrive no earlier than 2.30 pm.
