Description:Our house is located in the sunbathed village of Black River on the southwestern coast of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. The house is located in a small but very cozy garden with a slate pool fitted with a jacuzzi. There are 4 fully furnished rooms and 3 bathrooms one ensuite to the main bedroom, the other serving the two other rooms on the first floor and the last one at ground level. The house as you will have deducted has one storey with a total floor space of 200 sq.m. As we are on the coast, there is a nice verandah on which you can spend the whole day relaxing and chilling or having a BBQ! The house is fitted with the following amenities: - Free WIFI/Internet - standby generator set - Alarm system connected to a private security company - All the rooms on the first floor are air conditioned - Solar water heater - Water pump with 2000L of storage for water - Cable TV - Fully equipped open kitchen - TV room - Lounge - Dining room - Large dining table on the outside terrace - BBQ equipment - Parking for two cars - Automatic gate Besides, our house is located very close to the Black River Gorges National Park, famous for its scenery and for being house to the near extinct Crecerelle, Pink Pigeon and Big Cateau Verte. These are all birds endemic to Mauritius. Our house is 15 minutes drive from two of the best golfs of the island, namely the Tamarina golf and the Paradis golf. The house is barely 5 minutes walk from the beach. It is worth noting that the rental price also includes a maid on weekdays from 8.30 to 12.30 a.m. For those who like cycling, the southwestern coast is like paradise! You have a vey scenic route down the south of the island and if you want to climb, you have the Chamarel pass which is 10 km away. If you want to go offroad, you have access from our house to a very nice offroad trail which is variable in length and difficulty starting at 15 km and relatively flat for those who want to have it easy but going up to 60 km and 1000 m of uphill for those who take it seriously! Anyway, I shall be there for those who want to cycle!! Golf lovers have two magnificent golfs in a 15 km radius the Tamarina golf and the Paradis Hotel golf. Both are 18 holes. A round of golf at Tamarina is at Eur 40 excluding cart. Black River is also renowned for big game fishing. Our house is located barely 5 minutes walk from the jetty from where fishing boats depart in the morning. We have friends in the business and caneasily organize fishing trips. Finally, I would likle to say that my wife and I take the rental of our house very seriously. We are very welcoming people and try our best to make our guests as comfortable as possible.
