The osaka tower (tsutenkaku) is located just minutes from the building, and can also been see from the rooftop (while in the Jacuzzi the view is AMAZING at night with the lights of the tower on!!), and the VERY popular electronics street (denden town) is just a few minutes walk away. 24hr Supermarkets, 24hr convenience stores, cafe, restaurants etc are just minutes away. There is no curfew, however there is a 11pm cut-off time for the rooftop (we have neighbours!), and the hosts are from Australia, England and Germany.

Description:This property is popular among couples and single male travelers, not recommended for family with children.This spacious room has the latest home theater system i.e. LCD Screen TV , DVD player, speakers etc. It is a studio apartment in a hotel building. Many of the items are all included in the rates unless asked to pay by inserting money to the slot. Its ensuite bathroom is spacious and equipped with a mini jacuzzi, a bidet toilet bowl(a fantastic way to clean yourself) and a shower booth including two clean bathrobes. You will have guaranteed 100% privacy except when our cleaning lady comes around at noon to do her job for the room and the bathroom. -Close to line 2 and 3 at Seoul National University of Education Station. Only one stop from the famous yuppy town, GangNam metro station, Seoul Arts Center and Express Bus Terminal whch is the ideal base for travelers in S. Korea. -Many 24 hr open places such as seafood restaurants, bars, 711 etc, a variety of ethnic restaurants(Vietnamese, Italian, Japanese etc) and many international chains such as Starbucks, Baskin Robbins,Paris Bagget etc are all around within the blocks. -You can also walk to the National digital liabrary of Korea in 10 min. If you are looking for a five star facility room for the price of a one star hotel room, look no further. THIS IS IT!!! **BTW- Our location is in Seocho-Ku, one of the hearts of Seoul for entertainment and best residential districts for the upper class residents. Distance to various spots on foot -Seoul's only thermal hot spring jimjilbang sauna-1 km away. -Several Ginseng Chicken Soup restaurants-20~100 meters -Subway- 2 min walk away from the property -Montmartre Park(Parc Montmartre) 10 min walk from the property- there is a small Franco community nearby called 서래마을. -GangNam Station with many bars, shops, Imax movie multiplex-30 min or one metro station -Seoul Art Center & Seoul Opera House- 20 min -Woomyun Mt.- 25 min –great for a 2~3 hr hiking course -National Digital Library of Korea- 10 min. -Express Bus Terminal- 20 min. -Sinus Movie theater and Marriot Hotel and Central City Shopping Mall- 20 min One thing to add about a full Korean experience, perhaps the best way is to stay with a family with comprising privacy, but unlike westerners Koreans rarely invite their friends to their home unless the guest is very close to them like brothers. So often foreigners end up staying in Itawon Area(Seoul's foreigner's district where everyone speaks English My listing is in an area where there is almost no foreigners. With 100% privacy as stated in the listing and my personal guidance with local info and hiking trips, some of my guests still thank me for the great time. ***Outdoor Activities for those interested in hiking!!! If you are into hiking, you just hit jackpot because Korea is a paradise for hiking. There are over 1,000 mountains in the peninsula and I have hiked over 300 mountains in Korea and abroad. So I could be your perfect guide for it. There are 18 mountains in Seoul metropolitan area i.e. all reachable by subway and bus. Anyone interested in hiking should not miss this opportunity. A fee of $39 will cover for all expenses-your transportation, guiding, snack lunch and great Korean BBQ pork dinner or seafood pancake with Korean spirits afterwards. The fee also includes your insurance in case you get hurt during hiking, but it rarely happens because I will lead you to safe and good trails. However, you need to be physically in good shape for some tough hiking course with long hrs. Hiking courses vary from 3 hr to 15 hrs depending on the mountain. A recommended hiking duration is 3~5 hrs for beginners and I will consider it according to your experience and health conditions. Be sure to bring your pair of hiking booths though… Hope to see you soon. Comments from previous guests Ben was really a great host and did everything to facilitate my visit to Korea. It was interesting to hear his perspective on the Korean society and to share travel experiences. He invited me on a hike to the Samsung mountains, which was very enjoyable. He took me on unmarked roads into Buddhist temples hidden in the middle of the mountains and to scenic viewpoints of Seoul landscape. We then ended the hike in a pleasant village called Anyang where we ate 부침개 which is a Korean pancake and 막걸리 which is a very refreshing rice wine. The room is inside a motel so if you leave the key to the front desk they will clean the room for you. The motel is conveniently situated at few blocks from the lines 2 and 3 and Seocho area has a lot of Cafes and restaurants. Anyhow, it is conveniently located (5 min. from subway station) and there are many restaurants and cafes around. We love K-pop!!! Kangnam Station where you can find many clubs is only one substation away. Willie from USA 2010 Ben's communication and followup were top-notch, allowing me to safely arrive at the domicile in a foreign country. The location is good, near SNU and the #2 subway line through Gangnam. In the interest of full disclosure, this is not a private residence but a Love Motel where Korean couples can shack up for the night. When you check in, you personal hygeine items. The room has a vending machine that dispenses instant noodles, beer, and adult toys. That was an unexpected surprise to me. Ben from USA 2010 I highly recommend this place. Ben’s place is as described – a great room for cinema and more i.e. a fantastic bathroom as well. Very surprised to find such a great room in such an ordinary looking building. (It is worth well over $100-Watching many DVD movies alone was worth the money.) For hiking, I am a beginner, so we went for a 3 hr hiking course. It was full of beautiful nature. I miss it already. Ben is a very experienced guide, well-traveled and very knowledgeable about things in Korea and many countries. The BBQ dinner party was SUPERB!!.
