Description:This is a very unique house constructed from Teak wood that originally came from the Island of Java. It now sits on an amazing lot that backs up to the Balian River on one side and from another side has a view of the Indian Ocean and Balian surf break. Two great views in one location! This house is just 50 meters back from the beach and surf break, but located in a very quiet area allowing lots of privacy! The house is set up as follows: It has 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and one large loft room upstairs with a view of the ocean. Master Bedroom has a large double bed and the guest bedroom has a medium size double bed. Both bedrooms on the main floor are connected, so there is a wood wall divider between the two rooms with an opening. It’s perfect for a family that wants to have theirs kids close by, but still allowing the parents to have some privacy. It is not good for two couples as there would not be much privacy. The upstairs loft room is more private and another couple could sleep up there. There is one full bathroom in the house on the main floor. The kitchen is basic and detached from the house, it’s also shared with another rental but not many people seem to use it. If you found Balian by accident on the web, then you are very lucky! Balian seems to be a place that most people just stumble upon, and once here, they don’t want to leave! You’ll understand what I am talking out if you make it out this way. Best known for surfing, Balian also offers many other things like yoga, fishing, and trekking. If you just want to sit back and relax, get a massage, do some Yoga, or just surf your brains out, then Balian is the place to be! It’s just about 65 km from Kuta (1.5 hr drive) located in West Bali. You wont find any annoying vendors or hair braiders here, just really friendly villagers going about there everyday lives! Balian itself is surrounded by beauty. Towering coastal cliffs with a lush green countryside. The local cafes are a great place to sit and watch the surfers as well as a few cold sunset beers. For surfers Balian Beach offers one of Bali's most consistent waves. This river mouth break offers lefts and rights which are usually two to three feet bigger than in Kuta. Balian is 25 minutes from the left-hander at Medewi. There are other unknown spots within the vicinity for the more adventurous surfers. You’ll have to find those on your own!
