With its thick adobe walls, handcrafted wood burning fireplaces, elaborate stonework and high beamed ceilings and wooden floors, it provides a truly unique vacation experience. r n r nThis newly-built, handcrafted house has all the comforts and conveniences of a new home. The room also doubles as a second bedroom, with a double-size pull-out sofa bed and guest bathroom. r n r nUpon your arrival in the casa, fresh flowers await you and you will find all the ingredients you need for a Continental breakfast for your first morning (including freshly-ground coffee from the highlands of Chiapas). Your privacy is assured during your stay, but the owners live in the house next door to assist you in any way they can. r n r nLOCATION: Casa Adobe is located in a quiet, safe and leafy residential area approximately 4 km / 8 minute drive (or cab ride) to the central plaza (zocalo) of San Cristobal. It's an easy drive that takes you past a large supermarket (making it very convenient to buy groceries). There are also two traditional open air fruit and vegetable markets within a few minutes driving distance from the house.
